Great views. Awesome beach. House was very clean, but a little tired. Did not cook, but kitchen had everything necessary to do so. Linens were nice. Only significant disappointment was no cable TV, but not sure if it is even available on Topsail. The king bed on the first floor could use a new mattress and the couch needed to be replaced as there is no firmness left in it. Would probably recommend to others.

Very peaceful and relaxing. The beds were comfortable and it felt like a home away from home.

Betsy is an amazing host. We enjoyed our stay and we loved the fact that she provided everything we needed for our stay. The baby gate and high chair was a huge plus for me.

Check in process was very bumpy. Make sure to get in touch with host prior to the date of check in to ensure proper communication. Once we were inside it was great! Very happy with the kitchen and amenities. View is gorgeous. Such an easy checkout process compared to previous rentals. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful location on the water. The house did not come with much for the beach itself- one chair, no sand toys, so be prepared to purchase or bring your own. The views were unbelievable from the deck. Great spot to sit and watch the water. I would recommend this house and hope to stay again

This was our second time staying at Sol Therapy, and we loved it even more this time around. The property is extremely comfortable for our large family, everything was spotless, and it was great that we could bring our dog with us. It was easy to get to restaurants and coffee shops and the grocery store, and we left feeling totally rejuvenated. Will definitely try to stay again!

Our family had a wonderful week here and will definitely be back! Pros: The place was very clean with comfortable seating and beds. Nice bathrooms with good shower pressure. Very well equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need. (AND it’s all in good shape) Beach towels to use. Perfect location right on the beach where we enjoyed many, many hours. REALLY appreciated the gates on the deck areas. Our two dogs could go in and out as they pleased and we didn’t need to worry about their safety. Nature was magnificent! Sunrises, dolphins, starry nights, all kinds of birds, etc. (bring your binoculars!) Cons: Wished they had the table out on the deck but I believe that was getting fixed. The dryer didn’t dry well but Betsy is taking care of that too. Couple things just to be aware of: There’s a LOT of stairs!!! If you have bad knees then a beach house is not for you. Obviously every place here has to have them but it took its toll. Also, the upstairs bedroom is right next to the kitchen so that may not be the best for light sleepers or babies. Kinda hard to use the ice maker quietly. ;-) All in all we thought it was a terrific place to relax, unwind, and enjoy spending time with each other. Host was very responsive but we didn’t hardly need a thing! Thank you Betsy!

We found the rental exactly as advertised. The location was perfect. Although not swimming weather, we could step right onto the beach off the porch to take a walk. The grandchildren loved playing in the sand and flying their kite. We would rent this property again in a heartbeat. It was clean, kitchen well equipped and the many windows allowed for a lot of natural light. Property manager was friendly and quick to respond to questions. We had a great time. Thank you for making our stay memorable!

2 adult family's stayed Thanksgiving week. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing and having coffee and cocktails on the 2 decks, watching the sunrise and sunsets, and walks on the beach. Would highly recommend.

Our vacation was very nice. The only bad thing was we had to cut it short because of the hurricane that was impacting Florida and the East Coast.

We all enjoyed our stay! Beach is beautiful. House is comfortable. I don’t understand the negative reviews because we thought it was lovely. The bedrooms I would say comfortably accommodate more like 6 couples and then 1-2 children or teen. And you should definitely plan on bringing your own beach chairs. The furniture does show some wear, but you need to remember this is a pet friendly rental. Could’ve used small things like an oven mitt, extra batteries for remotes, extra light bulbs for burnt out front door. Other than that, we thought the place was clean and comfortable and we all really enjoyed it!! You will not be disappointed!

The house needs some serious maintenance and upkeep. Upon arrival, there was a missing baluster on the top deck. Any toddler or small dog could have fallen through. There was a light fixture hanging by wires and swinging in the wind constantly right outside the slider. Both of these issues mentioned in a review in JUNE. On the front decks, the chairs were rusted through to where a family member almost fell when attempting to sit down. When the issues were brought to the owners attention she was rude and combative. Her response was telling me I must not own a beachfront property and feel free to check out. The house is also listed to have beach chairs and other accessories. Unfortunately, nothing was useable out of these items. Some family members did not bring beach chairs based on the amenities listed for the house. Also, during the course of our stay, two gates leading to the beach for security, literally failed due to rusted hinges. In trying to communicate these problems to the owner, we constantly received excuses and her passive aggressive responses. We could tell that neither safety nor client satisfaction was priority for this rental property. We have traveled to many beaches along the east and gulf coast and this has been the worst rental experience. Stayed tuned for a negative rebuttal from the owner, as she does not address the problems from renters or acknowledge that they have legitimate complaints with the property.

Overall, our family had a great trip and enjoyed being oceanfront with great weather. Was disappointed in the upkeep of the home. We arrived to find several broken items including a kitchen drawer, master closet door, stair, and railing on the deck that was a safety issue for our toddler. The beach was beautiful and being ocean front made up for any interior issues but I’m hopeful that some updates will be made after the busy season.

The duplex was not in the best condition and needs some serious upkeep. When we arrived the ice maker in the fridge didn't work (we had to buy ice for the duration of our stay and when I mentioned this to the owner it was not acknowledged), the baby gate was broken off of the stairs (thankfully I had brought an extra that fit in this location), a portion of the flooring was missing on the transition from the carpeted stairs to the kitchen (our toddler scrapped her leg on it while climbing the stairs several times), there was an outside light hanging by wires (again mentioned to the homeowner but not acknowledged), several of the support pieces on the outside railings were loose or completely not attached (which was a MAJOR safety hazard for our toddler and our dogs who could have fallen off of the decks on the front and the back of the house - we left chairs positioned in front of the dangerous sections of the deck during the duration of our stay). The sofa cushions were also ripped on the back where they attach to the rest of the sofa. Also power washers came during our stay which disrupted our ability to utilize the water to rinse off either in the showers or with the hose after coming from the beach and it was loud while we tried to eat lunch on the deck - we were not notified ahead of time of this work either. The upstairs AC stopped working on Wednesday afternoon of our week-long stay and we communicated with the owner that day. I was requested to perform a lot of looking around at gfci outlets to try and trouble shoot and also look at the whole house panel before the owner agreed to call an electrician. The electrician came and it was not an electrical issue. Then we were told that an AC tech could not come out until 1 on Friday and that there was a portable AC unit we could use instead. We installed the portable AC unit upstairs but it could not keep up and the entire living space and upstairs bedroom was HOT. Because it did not feel like the owner was placing a priority on the comfort of our stay and getting the AC fixed we actually left a day early since we did not want to continue being uncomfortable while in the home. The positives of the house were that the beds were comfortable and the convivence of having a pack-n-play and highchair at the house was helpful for us and the kitchen was well appointed.

first time staying ocean front and it was amazing. Our condo had a wonderful deck with gates and walkway to the beach. Few items in the condo need some attention - fridge and freezer for sure. A beach vacation here was great! Lots of nice people to meet.

Everything was great.

NIce unit, could use a little tlc but once you look at that view out back nothing else matters, the only real complaint was the refrigerator had a really bad smell, couldn't see anything but very smelly. All in All would stay there again

This place is right on the beach. View is perfect Two master bedrooms with king beds and private baths. Everything you could want in a kitchen. A perfect beautiful place!

Couldn’t have asked for a better long weekend getaway. House was clean, great location, had everything we needed, easy check in/communication with host. Best of all - the beautiful sunrises and sunsets literal steps away from the beach. We had our dog with us and the locking gates on the deck/walkway to the beach was absolutely perfect. We were able to spend all day sitting outside relaxing by the ocean without a care in the world. Would definitely stay again :-)

My husband and 2 dogs had a blast staying at this property. If you have children or pets, the deck space is perfect! We were able to close the gates and our dogs could go down to look at the beach all day long! The house has a permanent gate at the top of the main living area which kept our pets from exploring the spaces we weren't using. The house was very clean and exactly as it is shown on the site. We enjoyed having coffee in the morning watching the waves from either inside or outside on the deck. The best was beachfront access and taking numerous walks on the beach daily. We didn't have any issues at all and definitely plan to go back next year at the same time.
