The property sits in a beautiful setting tucked on the south end of PM. Owners were amazing to work with and Arlene (property manager) checked in on us daily. Rental was up to date on amenities, very clean and cozy. There were other owners and long time renters around during our stay that made us feel like we were home! We would most definitely stay again.

Puerto Morelos is a very nice quiet place to stay along the Mayan Riviera. The cruise ships pass us by. Low key as compared to Cancun, Isla Mujeres, Playa Del Carmen, and Cozumel. But close to these for day trips.

The villa was peaceful and clean, the staff was taking care of us during the whole stay. The localisation of the villa was perfect, near enough from the center but far enough to relax when we needed. Thanks to the whole team from the whole family.

The villa was exactly as described and shown. It was perfect for our family! We enjoyed sitting in the lounge chairs at the pool each morning to watch the sunrise! It was breathtaking as the water sparkled in the sea and the pool and the palm tree branches blew in the breeze. We looked forward to each morning! There is an open air restaurant right next door w/ a sand floor. It was so convenient and so delicious! The property manager, Arlin was in contact with us each day to make sure we were doing well and always asked if there was anything we needed. She took great care of us and is the sweetest!! Jan and Jeff were great in the booking process. They made us aware of two things that may we may not be fond of during our stay. 1) Painting the outside of the villa, which we understand maintenance needs to be kept up. The workers were never in our way. 2) Sargassum (seaweed) was plentiful on the beach. It was interesting to watch the clean up each day. I appreciated their honesty, but neither prevented us from enjoying our stay! This is definitely a property that we would consider revisiting!!

I spent a week at this beautiful condo with three friends. The condo is gorgeous and very well kept. We used the.two bedrooms with emauite bathrooms and couldn't have been happier. Mattresses were very comfy and water pressure in the beautiful bathrooms was fabulous. The condos outdoor seating is spacious and the communal pool and seating area is perfect. The onsite staff keep everything clean and meat and are extremely friendly and responsive. The ocean in this stretch is very rocky and so not an easy spot to swim in. You won't mind though as the pool is wonderful. If you are looking for a safe and secure spot to use as your base while you explore the region or if you just want to stay out and have a relaxing time away, this IS the place. I highly recommend!!

Thank you Jan and Jeff for the wonderful stay at your condo in Puerto Morelos. You made things super easy for us and we loved the condo. The master bedroom is huge and the bed was very comfortable. The living area is beautiful and comfy! The kitchen is stocked with all the cooking and containers you may need. The complex is very quiet and peaceful. We met some of the other owners who were all very nice. We felt very safe with the security and the unit is very close to town with a grocery store for anything you may need. We rented a car and had a blast tooling around! Puerto Morelos is a quiet little town compared to Cancun and Playa del Carmen. Just our speed!! Many great restaurants! We really loved your place!! We had a wonderful time at Caribbean Reef Villas! My husband, myself, and our young son stayed in the master bedroom, and my parents took the guest room. There is a queen sized Murphy bed in the living room for additional guest(s), but both bathrooms are en-suite. The property is better than the pictures. Very clean and the kitchen is abundantly stocked with all the dish and cookware you could need. The appliance work very nicely. The condo is on the first floor and the living room sliding doors open right onto a small patio and just beyond is the pool - heaven! The pool is STUNNING and we used it multiple times a day. The beach was covered in seaweed while we were there (this was across the entire town, and the staff at CRV worked to clear as much as possible), and so we mainly swam in the pool. The pool area was quiet, and the other renters/owners were lovely and very kind to our young son. The one drawback of the property is it’s distance from the town. It’s a 15-20 minute walk to town, and you walk along the road. We walked to town each evening and would take a cab ride (120 pesos) back. The property manager, Arlene, is very responsive and helpful. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely return. We highly recommend!

This is an amazing condo, we stayed with our adult son and he had a separate bedroom and bathroom. Easily two couples could stay here and have privacy. Ground floor was great, as my husband has a leg injury. Stocked with everything you can imagine to cook! Nice pool! The sound of the waves to lull you to sleep. If you wanted it cool, excellent air conditioning. The shower pressure want incredible! Fresh drinking water that comes out of a separate faucet. Quick ride to town. Very quiet at night. We highly recommend this home!

This is a really cozy and comfortable home - very well stocked and conveniently located! Lovely pool and beach very close by…. feels like an extension of the living room. Owners Jeff and Jan take very good care of this property and it feels like home.

This beautiful condo is just far enough out of the pleasant little town of Puerto Morales. We loved the town, particularly after we visited Cancun, Playa Del Carman and Tulum. Great restaurants, right on the beach, and a great grocery store with a variety of food and other items you might need. The condo is nicely furnished, comfortable bed and everything we needed to be comfortable. While there was no satellite tv. there is great internet connection so we didn't miss not having tv at all. The pool is as wonderful as it appears in the pictures. The beach area is like most of what we saw around us, with seaweed build up, so, we didn't swim here. If we decide to come back to this area, this condo will be our first choice!! We got our covid tests right in town, $25 each, 20 mins, and you're done!

My family and I loved this property, if it was available for long term rental we would have been very interested. Loved the keycode entry, so much more convenient than using a physical key (but that option was available too!). The house was very well equipped and had very nice furniture and décor. We let the sea breeze blast through most of the time we were there and it was really nice. All the rooms had plentiful storage space, nice beds, great bathrooms etc. Beach and pool access were fantastic, we were out there all day every day we were there. All the property was well maintained and clean, we felt 100% safe the whole time (you go through a security gate to get to that part of the town and then at the property itself there was a night guard that patrolled throughout the evening. Was very quiet the whole time we were there, hardly saw any other guests and never were woken up or bothered by others. Property manager was super attentive via Whatsapp, and responded to all our concerns immediately. The road to the property could be sort of improved, our rental car bottomed out a couple times but there was a lot of rain at the time.

This was our families first trip to Puerto Morelos and most certainly will not be the last! With my husband and two children (ages 13 & 9) we spent from December 21st-January 4th at the Caribbean Reef Villas and feel very fortunate that the Parkman's open up their home to share with others and have the opportunity to discover this gem on the Caribbean! The Villa itself is very clean, well maintained and has everything that you could need to make your stay comfortable. I loved getting to sit on the patio with my morning coffee and book and just listen to the sound of the waves from the ocean and enjoy the sun on my face. The pool is just literally steps from the patio doors of the Villa making it so convenient when you need to use the washroom, get snacks or top up your favourite cocktail! All of the staff on site are very friendly and were happy to assist us with anything that we needed. The town square of Puerto Morelos is about a 10-15 minute walk or quick drive in to town and really does have everything that you would want. We ate at many of the restaurants, which were all terrific and the local grocery store is very well equipped. Be sure to take a walk along the public beach in town and make a stop at the many beach clubs for their happy hours! Great food, music and fun! The condo and property are lovely and very well maintained. The property manager was the best I have encountered in many trips to Mexico. If you want peace and quiet, this is a perfect place.

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful condo. It has everything you could possibly want to make your stay memorable. The pool is amazing - we were just steps away from it. And just beyond is the most gorgeous beach. Jan and Jeff were great at communicating and responding to questions. We are in love with this condo and in love with Puerto Morelos. Most relaxing vacation of our life. We were looking for a getaway where we actually got away from all the hustle and bustle of life. This beautiful property met all our criterion. The bed was comfortable the unit was spacious and well appointed. The small staff was attentive to anything we needed. There was a bit of beach grass so we spent most of our water time in their fabulous pool. Watching the beach boats go past and the catamarans flying there occupants up in the sky was an unusual form of entertainment. The town of Puerto Morelos had a great grocery and plenty of dining opportunities. A definite place we would love to return to! The Parkmans were great hosts. They checked in with us by email and kept us informed. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

Great condo and complex. The newly renovated condo is fantastic and the whole CRV complex is well maintained with the pool as a centrepiece.

We spent 9 fabulous days at this Villa Dec.26-Jan.3rd. This villa is well equipped with everything you could need to enjoy your stay. I loved that it was on the lower level. Simply walk out your patio and you are in your lounger at the infinity pool and views of the ocean. The kitchen has been recently renovated and has all the appliances you need. Of the time we were there we only went out to eat 4 times. It is an easy walk into town for dinner then we would take a taxi home. Every morning my husband would walk into town and get supplies we needed for the day. He enjoys going to the smaller places to shop. He found THE BEST freshly squeezed orange and lime juice. The Master Bedroom has more than enough room, lots of closet space and thank you so much for having so many hangers lol! The bathrooms have been renovated also and are wonderful. The Parkmans are wonderful people that are there to answer any questions before or during your stay. Arlene was always there to help in any way just by simply emailing her. I would not hesitate to recommend this villa to anyone and we hope to return.

Puerto Morales is a great place to visit. Staying at Caribbean Reef was a perfect location for us since we had a car and were able to visit town and nearby sites easily. Condo was great with comfortable furniture and recently upgraded kitchen and bathrooms. We enjoyed pool, beach and amenities here. Parkmans were available for questions and hosts who cared about their condo and their guests.

WE REALLY ENJOYED THE CONDO AND THE TOWN OF PUERTO MORELOS. ALTHOUGH THE WEATHER DID NOT CO-OPERATE(RAINED EVERYDAY/ALL-DAY LONG) WE MADE THE BEST OF IT. THE STAFF DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB AND WE WERE REALLY IMPRESSED WITH THE SURROUNDINGS. GREAT FOOD!!!

Nice condo at a nice small complex

A hidden gem! There are so many big "all-inclusive" resorts in the area that it was really refreshing to have what I would consider a more "exclusive" experience with the family. The grounds are beautifully maintained and our place was spotless! The kitchen is well appointed and should have everything you need for your stay. The pool is literally steps from the patio and has a great layout. Perfect for wading or lounging in a raft. Our boys loved exploring all the curves, steps, nooks and the little island in the pool. Just beyond the pool is the nicely maintained beach with excellent views and plenty of beach to explore and walk along. To the north is the wonderful town of Puerto Morelos. Its only ~ 3/4 mile away! Just the perfect size to explore on foot with a surprisingly wide variety of shops and restaurants to choose from. Make sure to check out the food stands at the center square too! If your looking for some additional excitement out on the water, just take a stroll down the beach to the south where you will find dolphinus world where you can swim with the dolphins or hook up with one of the beach vendors to enjoy some jet skiing, banana boat rides, parasailing or book that snorkeling trip to the worlds 2nd largest coral reef! There is a large grocery store near the main highway (less than 10 mins away via car) where you can fill up on groceries. We have limited Spanish speaking ability and were able to navigate our way through the store with no issues. There are limited groceries in town as well for a more basic selection. We kept commenting to ourselves that we could not believe our luck in finding such a perfect location! There was that feeling that we found a place that struck the perfect balance of being far enough away from the crowds and the hustle and bustle for some peaceful serenity to still being close enough to enjoy the benefits easy access dining and entertainment options. The on-site staff were very helpful and friendly and always available if you needed anything. Our family created memories that will last a lifetime! Thank you to the owners for making such a wonderful place available!

This is a comfortable 1-bedroom ground floor apt. with a Murphy bed in living area. It has a small, lovely beach directly in front. The water in front of the beach is rocky and not very nice for swimming. There are sandy beach areas for swimming about 1/4 mile in each direction along the beach but no shade available on these. The condo is in a fairly secure area outside of town. It is a very long walk or short taxi ride on a narrow road to town. Puerto Morelos is a very nice small beach town with a lot of very nice restaurants and a lively town square. Even little "hole-in-a-wall" ones have good fresh seafood. We are likely to return.

We absolutely loved our stay at Jeff and Jan's condo. Have to say that the pictures doesn't give justice to the condo, it's even better!!!!!! The condo has it all. Even found a juice maker and made fresh orange juice every morning. The views from the condo are stunning. The pool area which is 1 sec away, is heaven!!!! The ocean is not really swimmable due to corals etc but we don't need it as the pool is all you need with ocean views. We walked on the beautiful sandy beach every morning with our coffee. Doesn't get any better then that! The PM town, is amazingly beautiful with many restaurants etc, we loved it!!! The walk from the condo is actually easily done and approx 15 min to PM. Bring a flashlight to walk back when dark at night and it is very safe, never felt it wasn't. Or grab a cab ride for $50 pesos +tip. From PM you also can grab a colectivo bus to get to Chedraui for grocery shopping and return by cab for $80 pesos. We actually mostly traveled by colectivo buses to get to Tulum, PDC and Akumal, very nice buses and cheap! We both feel that 10 days wasn't enough and we'll return next fall for sure and also rent Jeff and Jan's condo again as much as we loved it there. Jeff and Jan's condo is beautifully appointed, in the perfect location for a great ocean view and close enough to walk to town for dinner or excursions. Everything you need is right there in the condo and the staff who take care of the property are kind and helpful. I'll be back!

Our family of four stayed in this condo for six days and were so glad we did. The condo was comfortable and the views from the condo were amazing! The owners were very responsive and easy to contact. We would love to stay at this condo again!!
