Familienfreundliches Hotel mit geräumigen Zimmer direkt am Strand. Die Kinder waren auch vom Pool begeistert. Der Strand ist traumhaft schön und als wir im August da waren, war kaum was los und wir konnten am Strand Muschel sammeln. Die Zimmer sind schön groß, auch das Bad ist groß und sauber. Wir waren abends in einem Restaurant in der Nähe, da uns das hauseigene etwas zu teuer war. Personal war freundlich und beim Frühstück gab es auch reichlich Auswahl und jeder wird fündig. Wir waren auf der Durchreise und daher nur eine Nacht da, die hat uns aber gut gefallen. Parkplatz ist bewacht und kostenlos

The property is located on an excellent beach with direct and amazing access. The beach has warm water year round and (outside riptide times) it is extremely fun. The entire property is filled with well-maintained gardens and the restaurant boasts a quality (included in our booking) breakfast. Everything is clean, including the rooms, which have excellent heat-pump units that keep them cool and dry. We had a discounted rate but even at full price this would be a very good value and exceptionally better than other nearby accommodation. It is close to Manuel Antonio (book online well in advance to avoid disappointment) and other activities on the beach or nearby. Jaco is also not far and has other activities including boat trips to the West side of Costa Rica.

The beach has riptides that make it unsafe outside certain hours around the high tide. We found it fine and worked (as everyone does) around that schedule, but you should be well aware in advance and plan accordingly. We were unaware of the riptides before coming. The property let us know when we arrived and we planned around the hours we should be visiting. Please note there is no lifeguard so you swim/surf/etc. at your own peril. The pool was relatively unsheltered and hot with insufficient cover for those not swimming. Some staff were excellent while the behaviour or some fluctuated significantly, depending on their perception of tips (we had no problem but others experienced rude behaviour).
