Overall a fantastic experience. The venue and decor was sensational, the views were amazing and fantastic facilities. The hosts were very friendly, available and take pride in their business.

Room was super comfy and elegantly decorated, the grounds and amenities were above and beyond and the location was perfect. Breakfast was a feast! Loved it and will definately be back

It is truly beautiful. A sight to see. The grounds, the rooms, the atmosphere. Amazing. Decorated absolutely beautifully. Very quiet and peaceful, if you’re looking for somewhere to lounge around and see the sights this is the place to be. Great location.

When we filled the bath and put the jets on the water went a murky brown colour, we hadn’t yet added anything to the bath so we assumed it was a cleanliness issue. There was a definite generational gap in the way the owners communicated, but I do not blame them for that at all. Millennials ideas of hospitality is inviting their friends over to watch a movie and not speak for 3 hours. They were happy and friendly and that’s the most important thing.

A very relaxing and romantic place to stay. A lovely decorated Victorian house. Like going back in time . The suite was also beautifully decorated and breakfast was wonderful. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming.

10 am check out. Noise of trolley from cleaning lady waking me up. There should be absolute peace until 10am but if check out was moved to 11am as it should be in any 5 star accommodation as it is in Sydney or Melbourne then it would be more in line with its rating. One can’t relax when pressure is out in and loud trolley noise made while still in ones room before 11 am. Nightly rate is high so one expects value for money. There appeared to be generosity at check in time but not at the other end. It made me feel disappointed and took the shine off my stay. It made me question if the generosity was for real. Also wifi address not in each room and connection dropped out a number of times while i was doing important work to do with patients results as i was doing some work remotely for patients in my care in NSW. They didn’t have to clean my room at all during my stay, only others that only stayed for a night or so. Front door was often unlocked when i came in later in the evening after a conference event. This concerned me as Bli Bli house is on a very busy road. Obviously another patron had forgotten to lock front door when they came in .No ongoin fresh milk was supplied at breakfast for tea and coffee. I bought my own but shouldn’t have to in a 5 star property.

The house was immaculate and the furnishings were beautiful and olde world style The cooked breakfast to order and delivered to your room on a silver trolley was so special The sweet and cake trolley in dining room and snack box left in our room were unexpected and very welcome surprises Meryl the owner we met was so friendly and helpful

Everything at Bli Bli Riverside Retreat was incredible and exceeded our expectations. Somehow the beautiful photos still don't do the cosiness and absolute luxury of the stay justice. Breakfast was delicious, the beds were so so comfortable and the double bath is to die for. I will be coming back whenever I can find time for the holiday!
