My family of 5 had a wonderful time. Perfect spot to the beach and away from it all. Beach never got overly crowded even on a holiday. The surf song cottage was the perfect size and so clean. Everything we needed. Including beach chairs and other beach toys the kids enjoyed. Hope to be able to return and stay again some day!

Loved Surf Song! Beautiful home in a great location - we liked being at the end of the island, near the dunes and lighthouse. The beach was never crowded. We saw beautiful sunrises and watched the dolphins from the deck. Will definitely be back!

A beautifully appointed house with updated everything. Really enjoyed the views and the beach. The area was very busy over the weekend, but the weekdays were nice and quiet. We even got to see the dolphins in the mornings! Definitely a great place to stay!

The house is wonderfully located right on the beach, most beautiful view, clean , modern , well equipped and dog friendly. THANK YOU! We truly enjoyed our time and HIGHLY recommend it. It is so comfortable , we didn't want to go out anywhere and had all our meals on the porch but it is close to the cute town and many good restaurants. This house made our stay at Folly Beach memorable, I can't wait to return.

The home was very clean, and the views were amazing! Great area for walking on the beach. The bunk beds are definitely designed for young children, and they would LOVE them! We have tall teenagers. One slept on the bottom bunk. The other slept on the couch, but he loved the view and was very comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

Needed a recharge with our furbaby and this home was perfect. The views were spectacular. We saw dolphins everyday. The house was so modern and clean. No need to take beach chairs or towels, they included everything. Loved cooking in the gorgeous kitchen while looking out at the ocean. DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE!

I had a wonderful time on a solo getaway at the bungalow. The location is ideal - right on beach access, glorious views of the water from huge windows in the living room and dining room, and on the quiet north end of Folly. The house is thoughtfully appointed, clean and uncluttered but with everything you need to make meals and get some serious relaxation. I loved watching dolphins jump in the surf while I sat at the dining table, taking long beach walks, and returning to the comfortable living space and calming primary bedroom. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful location

My sisters and I spent a lovely long weekend at this comfortable beach cottage. The weather was great for late November/early December. Walks on the beach; shopping in Charleston; Middleton Place; carriage ride; and of course we put together a puzzle! We found communication with the host excellent and quick responses to any questions we had. Now we’re back in Minnesota facing good ole’ winter. No matter how cold it gets this winter, we’ll have fond memories of our trip to South Carolina to help keep us warm.

We wore the beach out!!! The house was absolutely perfect. We look forward to another visit in tze future.

Surf Song was the perfect getaway for our family. We had some rainy days, but the quick access to the beach made it easy to get out when we could. The house was just as described and the kids toys were an extra bonus for our girls. The communication from Steven was also top notch.

Steven was very attentive and made sure we had everything needed for our stay. The home was very clean with great views from the kitchen and living room of the beach. The home is located next to the public access which provide traffic all day long. We enjoyed our stay here and enjoyed all the Charleston sites.

Spot is awesome, basically right on the beach. The owners were very polite and very quick to answer and questions via text. Would absolutely stay here again!

Enjoyed our visit ti Folly Beach. The house was clean and communication with management was easy and prompt.

House was just as described, it even has a new construction smell. Super close to the beach. Awesome views. The king bed is a very hard but that was our only complaint. The kitchen is well stocked with quality clean cooking utensils and dishes. The washer and dryer work well. The outdoor shower was awesome for knocking off the sand. There are a lot of stairs to enter this house but by the looks of it every single house on Folly Beach has stairs. If you are looking for a family friendly home in an amazing location look no further. The beach in front of this house isn't overpopulated either. Seemed to be just the other families/couples who had rented the houses next door. This house was equipped with beach chairs, toys, beach towels, and even left us wine and cookies as an arrival surprise. This was an amazing place for us. Our children are 13, 11 and 9. Oh, and this house is located towards the end of the island so it isn’t right in the heart of all the traffic and massive amount of parked cars. And you are a short walk from viewing the lighthouse.

Really enjoyed our stay at this house. Very clean, host was amazing and quick to respond to any questions I had. Kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need. Even though it's located right near a public access point, it was still a quiet with not near as many people as other places on the beach. We will be back.

You can’t beat the views from this house and the beach is at your doorstep. The house was spotless when we arrived and looked great. Would recommend to rent a car or golf cart since it is far from town. Overall, it’s perfect for a relaxing getaway on the beach!

We loved Surf Song Cottage! Only steps from the beach. We stayed in many places on SC beaches and loved this the most. Easy access to the beach, the beach was not at all crowded and it is clearly dog loving beach. The house was beautiful, comfortable, well equipped, and the porch was closed with a gate. we were able to leave the door open, hear the ocean, and our pup could sit on the porch and people watch. We will definitely return!

What a perfect beach house for a week vacation. The location was great the people we met were amazing. I couldn’t be happier with my stay.

The house was very nice, welcoming and convenient to the beach that wasn’t too crowded! The view from the deck was great when you wanted to hear and see the ocean without having to get in the sand! You must be able to handle steps to access this great little house. The kitchen was well appointed with a nice surprise for us upon arrival. My only complaint would be the bunk beds that would be great for littles but not as easily accessible or comfortable for grown people. We ended up putting the eggshell mattress (provided) on top of the bottom bunk to make it a little more comfortable for my 20 yr old son. The other two beds were very comfortable! I highly recommend this house for a relaxing beach vacation!

We really enjoyed the house. It was well appointed. The beds were comfortable. Short walk to the beach and about 30 minutes from downtown Charleston. Everything was very clean and the communication by the owners was very informative. I definitely recommend this place to others.

We absolutely love Surf Song cottage! This is our second visit and it was just as amazing as we remembered. This cottage is super adorable, clean and stylish. It is in a perfect location on a quiet beach (weekends get more busy) and has everything you need for your stay to be comfortable. There is plenty of room for a bigger group but was perfect for our family of four to spread out and relax. We really needed the relaxation and lovely days on the beach. Thank you so much!

The home was newly built or rebuilt. Our stay was in May of 2023. Interior and exterior was in great condition. Nice walkway to beach, with outdoor shower for getting the sand off after the beach day. Two bedrooms were equipped for adult guests, while a third bedroom had bunks, geared for children. There was a sleeper sofa, so even though the description says sleeps 8, really sleeps 4 adults comfortably. Check in and out was easy. Located on quieter end of island.

Beautiful home and property. Stunning views from inside and out! They thought of everything you might need from kitchen items, a grill, beach items, towels and toiletries, and even games, books, and toys for little ones. It was a very clean and comfortable stay!

This house was great and the location was wonderful. Sitting on the deck made you feel like you were right on the beach, you have views of the ocean from the entire back of the house. It was wonderful! Stayed for 2 weeks and could have easily stayed longer, the house is very comfortable. Not very close to center of town which was fine for us because it gets pretty busy there we loved the quieter location. It's a very close walk to see the Morris Lighthouse and enjoy the scenery. Will definitely be returning.

We enjoyed our stay. House is nice, bright and clean. Kitchen has all you need. We enjoyed the fact that we were away from the center. We loved that our dogs could come with us as they are part of our family. Our questions were always answered immediately. Will definitively use them again.

Loved this cottage it was far enough away from town that gave you privacy. Easy to get to the beach just a few steps and you were there. Love that you can have dogs on the beach. Owners were available and quickly responded. Had it ready two hours early for us. I will go back!!!!
