Kevin and Herman could not have been more helpful. They dealt with communications about a parcel we were receiving, provided a packed breakfast and took us to the airport early. Really wonderful guys.

Lovely neighborhood. Central to all cape town attractions. The apartment was absolutely beautiful. And the bath.....thoroughly recommend them and will definitely use as my cape town stay.

Great location in a quiet area, ideal for the airport, city and other destinations. Very relaxed, non-pretentious guest house. Excellent cooked breakfast, the 'kitchen sink' omelette is specially recommended. Kevin and Hermann were very welcoming and great hosts.

I booked this accomodation as an intermediate stop shortly before my flight back to Germany. My host Herman(us) was extremely friendly and courteous. In the evening he even cooked a lovely meal for me (including a tasty wine). The whole accomadation was very clean and I felt comfortable from the first moment on...Highly recommendable especially when you are looking for an accomodation close to the airport...

The staff was friendly. Felt like I was visiting good friends while I was there. They cared for my wellbeing and was always making sure I was comfortable during my stay. I felt secure and sometimes even home. I recommend this place for everyone looking to break away for your travel dreams. Heads up on the food as well, I have to put emphasis on the food!

Hosts are exceptional :-) Excellent location - close to the airport and close to where I had to word. The service was excellent ! Dinners were excellent - chicken stir-fry, the gourmet lamb cops, and Houtbay fish & chips. Could not have asked for more. Even a late night dinner was no problem after I had to work very late one evening.

I don’t know where to start, I booked it for my parents and from their arrival was being called and told of the beautiful welcoming they got, the friendly service with a smile and not to mention the extra mile the owners went just to ensure their comfort and ease. Just to mention a few, my mother deviated from the normal breakfast as they went and bought exactly what they needed to make a smoothies every morning. I mean really!?! And then they would go find a place in the garden to smoke and the next morning would find chairs and pillows on the same place… I was like “u gotta be kidding” . My parents were happy, comfortable and safe but received so much more than expected. Thank you Kevin and Team from the bottom of my heart.

I didn’t like the fact that my parents had to leave after finding a place they good only sing praises about. I trust me, I will state should the service is bad. #ask the City club. The Brookdale house has honestly out did themselves and I will recommend them any day!

Friendly staff and a comfy stay.

Had to book very last minute and turned up around 30mins after booking. The host was incredibly accommodating and helpful and completely understanding of the situation. Had a very restful and peaceful night with a great dinner and breakfast. What stood out the most was the host of the guest house who really did everything possible to make it an incredible - if very last minute stay.

In all my years of travelling around many countries I would be hard pressed to find better organised and welcoming accommodation than this one. There was not one thing that was too much trouble. Early breakfast - no problem. Late Dinner -no problem , Cold beer - no problem Thanks very much guys
