Great breakfast very friendly staff

Best bed in the hotel so far!! Always presented beautifully and very clean.

Location was fine, food was enjoyed, coffee from the machine was undrinkable.

Had to request cutlery for breakfast and was also charged an additional $30 for breakfast and when I queried the gentleman at the front desk he wasn’t bothered my emails quoted breakfast was included, he refused to reimburse the difference, told me to contact booking.Com. I did and they sorted it out after I provided evidence. Not very impressive service. I paid an extra $50 for an early check in at 11am and arrived at 12:30 after calling the morning to confirm the early check in is still available. When we arrived later than normal check in time, the room was still not available.

There was a lack of staff unfortunately

Room service took a long time and was cold when arrived. Bathroom was a little out dated but did the job

The convenience of the property. It was within walking distance of shops and public transport. The staff were very helpful when we had issues with the TV, the upgrade was a bonus. It was quiet and comfortable, we couldn't hear the rain, nor did the sunrise wake us. It was lovely sitting on the balcony at the end of the day, watching the sunset.

There were signs of age about the building. Carpets and paint lifting, cupboard doors that wouldn't shut, panels with holes in them. Interestingly, we found a can of drink propped behind one of the paintings in our room.

Advertisement stated balcony, our room didn’t have one 😭. Unable to upgrade to a room with a Double 2 singles .

Bed had a spring in it, we let the staff know they did not change us. My daughter who has back problems couldn’t walk after the 1st night. She spent the day in tears and trying to find a physiotherapist. We ordered breakfast in the room it never showed up. Breakfast was really unappetising it looked like a dish of water and goo. I rang and changed our bedding arrangements the day I booked Upon arrival it had not been changed. We had lots of luggage, the guy at the front desk was chef me struggle with it. I asked for help he said, mabye outside you might find a trolley, ignored me and went back to talking to the other man behind the counter.

No safety rails in bathroom,standing in old bath is very poor and dangerous, shower its self could be a lott better,not enough power points in room, hotel in general showings its age should have been refurbished a few years ago, breakfast food was very poor for its cost making it a very costly stay.

The room was clean and beds comfortable. There was a fair amount of noise from people outside our room. However, it was grand final weekend, so, I understand.
