The beach

The staff (especially Nina and James) was super friendly and really goes the extra mile.

Great location, only 10mins ride to patong but also very secluded with it's own beach. Many activities like Yoga, snorkelling and kids entertainment. Food is great, beds are comfy. 3 pools to choose from.and swim up bar is great to meet people. Happy hour at 3 bars and wonderful staff who are so helpful. We always come back here.

The coffee....prefer Coffee Club over Starbucks because the coffee is stronger.

Everything was good, restaurants well thought, entertainment and daily change of buffets. The home reef and elephant was unexpected surprise.

Many activities can be done there specifically for kids. We enjoyed each single dat there! You don’t even need to go to Patong area too. Highly recommended for families with kids aged 0-7years I guess!

The value of money and cleanliness wasn’t as expected but I guess this is a standard resorts (budgeted ) at Phuket.

Marriott Spa overall is a very good resort.espfor families with young children. Activities for kids and adults are available . Facilities are clean. The staff is amazing- friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our breakfast - staff worth mentioning are Kwang, Jean, Patty, James, Oilly and Ammy. Oat milk at the Front Desk is very friendly !

The hotel shuttle at times are very full n we had to be seated very closely to each other .

Great resort with multiple pools which was great for kids. Good location about 10 minutes from Patong. Breakfast staff were always friendly and attentive.

The resort has everything. We travelled with a baby and toddler and we did not need to leave the resort for anything. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The kids club is excellent - the Staff who work there are so engaging with the children and provide great activities

The housekeeping was an issue. We would often leave the Hotel room from 8am-2pm and when we came back we found that our room had not been cleaned yet. Also, my Daughter’s blanket went missing from the room. I had it in bed that morning but I imagine housekeeping had scooped up the blanket whilst changing our bedding. I appreciate this was an accident. However, my Daughter is 10 months old and that was the only blanket we brought for her to sleep with.

the beach was lovely,very clean and quiet.

the food was awful. Other than a few Indian dishes and Pizza the staff had no idea about what was on the menu or how to cook it. It was needlessly hard to get a reservation in the Thai Pantry, even when half the tables were vacant. The only good staff was Boon, she was very very helpful.

comfortable beds. reception manager was professional and staff in general was nice and helpful.

the hotel is old and weary. the rooms smelled like old carpets. we went into the room and immediately back to reception to shorten our stay. it was too late to find a hotel for the same night so slept one night and checked out. breakfast was not at the level of a Marriott.

Our second time at this hotel and it was perfect! Beautiful hotel, the most nicest people are working there - we had a great time!

Amazing property quality and amenities. The sea is not the best for swimming specially low tide. Room service was great and property is renovated to the best.

I could not smoke on balcony although my room was beach access and this hotel was not a good choice for young single people

During our stay, everyday they decorated our bed with complementary honey moon arrangements and provided sweet 😊 thanx Beach access, pool size and location just we opened our balcony door and into the pool 😄 Food type (Halal is available ) and options Room size and cleaners Customer/reception service (Mrs Mabe and Fruitly were super nice ) Activists available at the hotel (play area, activities etc) Free shuttle to Patong beach Very tasty welcome drink (Butterfly pea 😋)

Not much honesty

Not to a 5* standard at all, upon arrival we had no assistance with our luggage out of the cab! When attempting to check in the staff were very unfriendly and unwelcoming. No explanation of the resort facilities or restaurants. The rooms weren’t like the website pictures at all, in reality they were so much smaller and outdated. The rooms had an unpleasant odour. We explained to the staff that the rooms were not up to scratch and we were moved to a different room, unfortunately this room smelt like urine. To confound our experience we found a cockroach in bathroom. Parts of the resort itself were very dingy and the lift resembled a service lift. It is definitely due a renovation. We chose to stay at the Marriott because we expected premium experience. But it was found wanting in every aspect. One of my party was celebrating a birthday on day of arrival and minimal effort were made from the team to make it special. We were originally scheduled to stay for 6 nights but due to the above we only stayed one, I’m grateful to Mikki for facilitating a smooth cancellation. Although I felt aggrieved to pay for our overnight stay. I'm truly shocked by the 9/10 scores given to the resort as it barely gave the impression of a 3 * establishment. Hopefully the staff will take into account the criticisms given and make some improvements.

The pool was perfect for families and the breakfast catered for everyone. The biggest bonus was the private beach with activities.

Second family stay after a year. Excellent family hotel. Very good staffs. We will go again. Big thank you to: - Mr Pete from front desk who gave us a very warm welcome. My son named the Marriott bear you gave him “Pete The Bear.” :) He loves it. - The housekeeping team who always make sure our room was always neat and comfortable and attended all our requests including Ms. Phaeva who left some nice welcome notes for us. Not to forget Ms May and the rest of the housekeeping team. - Ms Erin from restaurant always comes to greet us with a genuine smile. She rocks! - Mr Sun from the pool remember us from our stay last year and always come to engage with my little boy. Such a great guy. - Ms. Tangmo and Ms. Nok from the restaurant who surprised us with a special cake the night before checkout. We were touched. - Ms. Summer from front desk who we remember from last year checkin. Always a pleasure to deal with her. - The kids club staff who always took great care of my son. - Last but not least. The whole staff who we didn’t mention. Nothing to dislike. Everything was exceptional….

Clean facilities, fresh food. Furniture well taken care of..

Pool was awesome. We had a room that had steps from our balcony right into the water. We loved it.

Room Service and anything paid for like drinks is very expensive. A 10% service charge is put onto EVERYTHING you pay for. Then they also ask on the receipts for tips. Which is a little strange. We just didn't add extra tips because of this.

В этом отеле ужасно практически все! От моря и пляжа, которого нет! Там узкая полоска песка и все остальное рифы, об которые можно просто покалечиться до уборки в номерах, которую мы ждали двое суток. Писали записки, просили на словах, они просто игнорировали нас. Весь отель напоминает старый обшарпанный, неопрятный пансионат прошлого века. Территории практически нет, людей, как пчел в сотах. Это напоминает гудящий улей, отдых превращается в пытку с первых минут пребывания в этом ужасном месте. Если бы мне рассказали, что так бывает в пятизвездочном отеле, да еще и в сети Марриот, я бы просто не поверил. Это дешевая тройка с ужасным подходом к гостям. При выезде нам не вернули деньги, мы до сих пор не можем добиться от персонала отеля документов о переводе наших средств на карту.

Everything the oceanview , pool view rooms are very nice and extremely clean. The restaurants onsite are great value and beautiful food. The staff are super friendly

The location, set-up of rooms, pool, spa centre, rum shack and restaurant facilities. The most fantastic thing was the wonderful staff. So friendly and helpful. It was also my 50th birthday and the extra acknowledgement of this in different ways was so lovely. Of special mention was Joomie, Ping, Noey and Aof who were always smiling and remembered us every time we came to the Beach grill and MJ at the Rum Shack.

The beds were too firm. Would have liked more evening activities for adults. Would suggest live music, dancing or a show.
