Another great vacation in St. John. This house served us well with plenty of room and great views. Our property manager was right on top of everything we needed.

Was my second time staying at this property and the view never gets old! James is such a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be staying here again when we come for our now annual trip to St. John.

Estate Rendezvous and Ditlef was an outstanding property and I highly recommend it for your trip to St. John. We are a family of six, two older boys and two teenage girls. When traveling, as a family, we always rent homes and villas and have done so throughout the Caribbean, Italy, Vermont, and Florida. I am, also, a super host, so I therefore have a lot of experience with rental villas. Jim's place is GREAT! It's comfortable and clean and well appointed. It has everything you need and, most importantly, it is not too far from Cruz Bay. There are fabulous villas to choose from on St John, but many are located far from Cruz Bay and the North Shore, where all the great beaches are. The driving is CRAZY on the island because of all the steep hills and Jim's place is located near everything and it matters. Plus, the deck with pool and hot tub is lovely and very enjoyable. It is shared space, but everyone is divided perfectly with separate driveways and entrances, so it works very well. Plus, there is an AMAZING private road that does not get any traffic, with incredible views for walking. I do not recommend walking on any road that has cars traveling on it in St Johns. The roads are tight and cars travel too fast. You can rent a car and get around without difficulty, but it is not for someone that would be bothered by driving on the opposite side of the road with lots of VERY steep hills. Lastly, Jim's place has a trundle bed pullout in a "third" sleeping area. The beds are both incredibly comfortable and the area is somewhat set apart as an alcove. My husband and I ended up sleeping there, as we are the early risers. We planned to have our daughters, but the beds were so nice and comfortable, that we decided to and it worked out perfectly. I highly recommend Jim's villa and hope to return to it sooner than later. Thank you, Jim, it was a wonderful family vacation.

Floors were not clean. If you walk much barefoot, your feet may be black from the dirt on the floor. Plenty of dishes and cook ware! Clothes washer was terribly loud and kept stopping before load was finished. Bathroom sink drain was stopped up.

Our stay was just what we were looking for. Comfortable place for kids, parents and grandparents. The owner was really nice and even drove us to the property. Closest beach was about 10 min away but we didnt mind the short drive. Would go back.

James met us at the ferry and we followed him promptly to the property. He explained where to park and then we toured the house explaining where he shared all details. The location was so convenient and the view spectacular. We sat by pool in the evening looking at stars. There was also chairs, cooler and floats for the beach we borrowed each day. Home was beautiful with plenty of sleeping options for our kids and there was ample patio space for enjoying coffee or a meal. Would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting STJ! Thanks again to James for making our short stay there wonderful.

Our kids enjoyed the shared outdoor hot tub and pool (we never saw anyone else use). The unit was very well equipped (lots of towels, toilet paper, detergent, etc), spacious rooms, comfy beds, nice outdoor dining/grill area and living area with hammock. My husband especially enjoyed the driveway 😜. James was only a phone call away if anything was needed. After visiting another VRBO, we realized what a great location this place had too.

Had a wonderful NYE stay here with friends. The place was hard to find in the dark (who knew addresses arent really a thing in USVI), but host was responsive and was able to easily guide us there. Place had coffee maker and reliable internet, so essentials were covered. Pool area was amazing. 5 minutes to grocery store, 10 minutes to national park, and 5 minutes to car barge. Really an ideal location, especially if you have a rental car. Highly recommend this property and host. Will absolutely look to book this listing when we return.

The place was great. They even left the left over beer in the fridge. The place was clean. Hard to find, but oh well, I think that is the norm in St. John. It was just us 3, but it would have easily fit more. In short, it was clean, comfortable, and it had great views. What more can you ask for?

This property exceeded my expectations. We stayed on the main level and had walkout access to amazing verandas, the pool and jacuzzi. Simple things like the abundance of soap/ shampoo/ conditioner/ body wash, to more complex needs like dishes and pots exceeded my expectations. The beds and pillows are comfortable and waking up to that view is amazing!! There are plenty of towels too. I appreciated the coolers and beach chairs that were available. The unit has deci it's fresh clean water, plenty of ice,, mustard, ketchup and tea. I'd recommend bringing your own coffee to use in the provided drip coffee maker. On the subject of recommendations, I'd suggest bringing any dry goods that travel well; coffee, for instance, is about $8 per 12 Oz package at the market. I'd also recommend plastic disposable cups and straws for use at the pool or beach.
