Nice stay

Perfect getaway, close access to beach, and great place to spend time with people you care about. Overall property was great and plan on booking again. Few issues with a TV not working in one room and a remote missing for blinds. Not a big deal, as we weren't there to watch TV and we had sunshine that was very much appreciated. Small stuff in the big scheme of things. All good.

Overall pleasant stay

The property was very nice, very large open house with beautiful beach views. The hot tub was large and a very nice relaxing break. There are TVs in the bedrooms but they do not have cable. There is a fire pit but it cannot be used due to burn bans for the entire summer. This is a managed property and you pay those fees and it feels very strictly managed. There is no direct beach access, you have to drive (only 1/4 of a mile) around the corner to drive on the beach. We had to make up the kids bedroom as the sheets were folded next to the beds. I probably would not go through this company again due to the amount of fees you pay for the amenities you get. If you have someone who is handicapped, this would be an ideal place they could get around the house and see the beach from the deck.

This property is amazing! The house and property were very clean. The kitchen was very well equipped. The location was perfect, serene, quiet. The sound of the waves lulled us to sleep at night. Hot tub was a total bonus. Lots of space in the house itself...great layout. The view was outstanding. The upstairs library was chock full of fun and games. Everything in the house worked really well. Plenty of parking and very safe.

Overall we were very happy with the property and would rent it again. We usually stay with 14 people but this year only had 10 so it worked out perfectly. Easy to get to, room for our party of 7 adults and 3 kids to spread out. The kids loved the hot tub after a day at the beach. If I had to raise one major complaint it would be the lack of view of the beach from the deck and lower level. The overgrowth of the vegetation on the other side of the chain link fenced has not been maintained and so spoiled the view unless you are standing in the right spot. This was a comment from other people and so I had really hoped it had been taken care of before we got there. The main reason I rented this home was for the view from the deck. Having rented many homes in the past I was not surprised by some of the challenges as it seems to happen in every home. Home was older and more worn than appear in the pictures as usual. There were many notes around the house about things that are going to be fixed. The common joke between us was about how long the repair notes have been there as they looked like it has been a while. It got really warm in the afternoon to evening because we couldn't lower the upper blinds due to the remote control not being present. Again not to be overly picky - we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we only have part of the family with us.

It was very enjoyable. Watching the fireworks over the ocean from the hot tub was a treat!

Enjoyed celebrating my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. Many wonderful memories were made.

Lovely view on a bluff overlooking the ocean. House is well equipped. Two master suites on the main floor with very comfortable beds and their own exits to the large deck. Loved that all the switches were marked. The remote for the upper shades was missing, and it would be helpful to have a written guide for the TV/cable as each system is a little different. We reported the overhead lights in one bathroom were burned out but they were not replaced during our stay. The location and comfort outweigh any minor inconveniences.

Easy to locate and enter property. Very clean.

This is our second trip to this beautiful house ,we will comeback again.

Wow! We absolutely loved the experience (first time), of a cottage/vacation rental idea vs the sometimes bland hotel stay. We were so pleasantly surprised and comfy in "our" beautiful/fully furnished cottage. So much so that we didn't want to leave! We will do this again----but for a longer stay next time. We found lots to do in the area as well. It was well worth the testy drive in sour traffic to get there. Keep it up folks----you are doing it right.

Five senior citizens enjoyed the large kitchen, outstanding views, the ADA features. Very comfortable, full of natural light, kitchen well equipped. Quiet community. Close to restaurants. The beach was the best. Easy to get to the beach access road.

This home is immaculate and the views are spectacular. Hot tub is a great bonus. The most relaxing trip to the coast we have ever had!

Nice property and location. We were short on some toiletries and twin sheets for the bunk beds. There was only sleeping bags that were provided for top sheets on the bunks. Good overall.

Lovely view. 7 adults where challenged with the amounts of beds. The upper beds were small. No coffee filters. South bthrm. sink draining very slowly.

This is a spectacular property for a family of all age groups to stay. Views of Ocean were spectacular and at night I have not seen so many stars in 20 years. Large kitchen and dining area was wonderful for family to eat all together. Plenty of seating throughout home. Love the large loft with large table and seating. Plenty of parking. Large yard and deck to play with our small dog. ADA amenities were a welcome extra for my 91 year old father. Only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay. The separate bedroom suites with individual doors onto the deck were great. The beds and sofas were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the deck had lots of chairs. Our pups were very happy too. Two suggestions…let folks know how to access the beach; it took us a while to find the steps at the motel next door. Also it was hard to see the beach below the house since the vegetation had sprouted up. We would definitely stay here again.

This house was a perfect end to a long summer. The owner uses Vacation by the Sea to set up all the logistics and are you speak to with any questions. The whole process was easy.

The Moclips property had many amenities and was a very big space. Check-in was very easy, although we never found a check-out process in any of the online paperwork or binders at the property, but assumed the usual of washing dishes, pulling sheets, and wiping counters/sweeping. There were lots of dishes and cooking supplies, plenty of blankets, and everything was as clean as can be expected. Highly recommend for a family gathering, or group of friends. Beautiful views, and although we never tried to find the walking trail, the beach drive was easy enough - a minute down the road. The water was warmer than we expected for the Pacific Ocean (it's July), but it was also windier than expected due to the bluffs. Highly recommend this property for an easy get-away and quiet town.

Very nice house. Beautiful views. Would have liked being able to able to walk to beach with children. Nice break from hot weather in Seattle area.

Great location, great view, lots of space for a full house

We absolutely loved this home! From the gorgeous view, inside and out, to the large kitchen, bedrooms, and gathering areas, the home is in excellent condition, the kitchen is well-equipped, and the beds are comfortable. Outside is a panorama of the sea and the sunsets from the large deck. Inside the view is just as good, and you can hear the ocean’s roar as you drift off to sleep. The library/loft looks wonderful for stormy day sea viewing and games. Furniture is newer and very comfortable. We will definitely return!

Checking into the house, we were all impressed immediately by the grand view of the sunset at the beach!! What a nice surprise to the trip! The house is spacious enough for our 7 people. It has two master suites which suit our group very well, plus two additional bedrooms perfect for the youth who want to have their own privacy. The kitchen is clean with the necessary cooking utensils. The Living area, bathrooms, and bedrooms well maintained and very clean. We enjoyed the two-night staying at this house.
