Fabulous position. Walk over the road for a swim. You can hear the waves from your room. The bed was comfortable.

The hotel is tired and the furniture needs replacing. The staff, with the exception of one , never smiled or connected with us. The breakfast was average. There is no tea or coffee facilities in the rooms so you rely on the bar staff to make you one. We were told at 8.45pm that they couldn't make us a coffee. The basin in our bathroom didn't drain properly. However, you get what you pay for.

The location is excellent for beach vacations. Beaches are nearby, the train station is a ~15-20 minute walk. So is the old town, but there are beaches that are even closer. The hotel room had a nice AC, so it was perfect to escape the afternoon heat for a nap and then return to the city in the evening. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean and it also got cleaned everyday. There was a rack to hang bathing suits and towels, which came in handy. The breakfast was good as well. For the price you get what you pay for and I would definitely come back again.

The only thing which was a little annoying was that you couldn't close the shower, so you had to be careful that you don't splash water everywhere. Also you could hear the street quite well in the night, if you are a light sleeper be aware of that.

Returning guests. We love this hotel. The staff is very friendly and happy to have a quick chat when it's not busy. Rooms are a good size, modern bathroom and rainfall shower. There is a buffet for breakfast with freshly baked bread and pastries, fresh fruits, cured meat, cheese and cereal so something for all tastes. This year they also had the bistrot open for dinner and the quality of the food is very good and very fairly priced. Walking distance from the old town, pedestrian area, around 20min. There is small beach literally in front of the hotel, or a bigger one 5 min walk. Highly recommended.
