Beautiful property, the staff was very attentive and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The morning breakfast was fabulous and we had snacks around the pool which were delicious.

My only complaint is I thought the hotel was missing some life. I would have imagined some live music playing to add to the charm of the place.

This hotel seems overpriced for feeling quite outdated. The quality of the food in the two restaurants tried was not great but very pricey. Pet fee was 100dollars compared to 20-30 dollars which is what I'm used to being charged for my pet in similar hotels, this was also not clearly disclosed on the booking site or when I wrote to let them know I was traveling with my dog prior to arrival.

The property is gorgeous and sequestered, like a private luxury. There are several restaurants on the premises and an emphasis on the history of the hacienda. Breakfast was delicious and they had so many options to choose from. Dinner was great as well, but Sandra, our waitress, really added the warmth and charm that made us feel at home. Sandra was absolutely wonderful!

Not that I go to hotels for the TV, it would’ve been nice to have a TV I could stream to.

More beds around the pool and the hotel was quite noisy so was hard to sleep both at night and in the morning.

Wir haben den Tag vor unserem Abflug aus San José im Marriott Hacienda Belen verbracht. Es war sehr angenehm hier noch einmal zu relaxen und die Annehmlichkeiten des Hotels vor einem langen Flug zu genießen. Der Pool ist sehr schön. Das Ambiente des Hotels ist sehr gediegen. Die Zimmer sind angemessen eingerichtet, die Betten sind bequem.

Es kann sehr hellhörig sein, wenn auf den Fluren oder im Nachbarzimmer laut gesprochen wird.

Schönes modernes Hotel in historischer Hacienda mit schönem Pool und riesigem Garten, in dem bunte Papageien herumfliegen. Das Zimmer war modern ausgestattet. Es gab diverse Restaurants und wie haben sehr gut mit schönem Blick auf die Lichter der Stadt zu Abend gegessen.

Die Queen-Size Betten waren sehr schmal. Das Frühstück haben wir zum Mitnehmen bekommen und es hat nicht besonders gut geschmeckt. Liegen am Pool etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

The time to checkin was long. They make you checkout at the reception as well even though was to only drop the key. I gave them the suggestion to do express checkout to avoid another 20 mins of line but I was ignored by the person in reception which i found very rude given my feedback was polite and trying to help them improve their service.

I had booked a specific room on booking and even upgraded and when i checked in they tried to charge me another 50. I argued and showed what i had paid for Thought she was extremely rude. But all other staff were fantastic. It was unfortunate that was the initial indroduction

Location close to the airport was really convenient but it felt tucked away and relaxing. Great hotel - only down side is it’s a chain so not really unique but will definitely stay next time we come

We were charged a different rate to the one agreed via Booking.com. We showed them the email from Booking.com but they didn't agree to it so we paid more than we were expecting to pay and then they wouldn't take the extra off our bill. We will not be recommending this hotel. Absolute disgrace.
