all was perfect

Vila Leonida offers an amazing view of the Bucegi mountains and looks absolutely fantastic inside and outside. It is very clean and all the personnel is very kind and available when needed. There is a lot of green around, beautiful flowers and the breakfast buffet offers many choices and is very tasty.

It is not very easy to reach it by foot, it is better to have a car, there is parking. There are not many paths for pedestrians, however taxis are available. Also the outside stairs are very big and slippery, it does not bother you if you are in good shape though.

We really enjoyed our time there, the strongest points were the amazing view from our room and the beautiful garden where you can just relax and admire the flowers or the mountains. There are even some friendly cats around. The staff was very polite and helpful.

The breakfast options were rather basic, but it was ok overall.

the expandable extra bed was not that comfortable; the outside stairs where full of snow and ice and were a little slippery, some salt on them would have helped

We liked very much the staff! I think it was one of the best experiences ever in Romania when it comes to staff and that means all of them, from the receptionist, the people from the restaurant, even the cleaning staff, all of them. This was what gave us a good vibe during our stay there.

-too expensive for what it gave back as facilities - didn't like the temperature, either cold, either too hot because of electrical external heater as solution - the mattress was not comfortable

Very clean location. Hotel staff wearing masks (not the restaurant staff though). Very helpful and friendly receptionist. Amazing breakfast, with multiple choices available. Breathtaking views both from the villa's garden and inside the restaurant. Very quiet during the night. Bonus: two incredibly friendly and well taken care of cats.

Poor/lack of choices for vegans/vegetarians in the restaurant's menu (La Cerdac).

A superb historic villa in a dream natural setup. Plenty of spaces, and a garden to match the architecture.

To make it perfect, some of the staff could be more knowledgeable in the local tourism, and a few relevant books could be placed in the living room.

Wonderful villa, decorated in style with great views from the lovely garden. The restaurant serves good food as well. Clean and big rooms.

The location is not within walking distance of town center or other restaurants. The reception staff were not able to provide us with some information regarding activities in the surroundings (in English at least).

The villa has nice view over the mountains and it is very clean. Big like to the restaurant La Cerdac meaning good food even if we are vegetarians they were open to prepare something tasty and fresh. Special thanks to Chief restaurant Laurentiu, Ioana, Chef Nicu, Cristi and the entire staff as they've always done their best to make our stay warmful and cheerful. We'll be happy to return to Vila Leonida.

The heating is not centralized (probably because the hotel is listed as a historic monument). The heating system of the hotel is a fan based heating/cooling unit and it is a bit noisy and dusty. We asked for an electrical oil based heater which they immediatly provided.
