Het hotel ligt aan de rand van het centrum, paar minuten lopen van de winkelstraat. Het uitladen van de bagage gaat wat onhandig omdat er geen ruimte is voor het hotel. Het inchecken gaat heel snel maar ook minder persoonlijk. Het ontbijt is gewoon goed, maar niet bijzonder voor een 4 sterren hotel. De parkeergarage is om de hoek en kost 14 euro per 24 uur. In de informatiemap van het hotel staat 6 euro, maar de receptie weet daar niets van????

De kamer was slechts ingericht voor een gast, ergo het ontbrak aan een 2e kussen, 2e dekbed, 2e handdoekenset. Na melding is dat opgelost maar mag niet gebeuren voor een 4 sterren hotel. Kamer heeft geen airco en aan de straatzijde is het gebruikelijke lawaai van een hotel in de stad: verkeer, vuilnisauto om 06.30 uur, uitgaanspubliek

Very good location, nicely kept, clean, well equipped room.

No air condition, very hot summer the room was too warm. If we opened the window it was noisy.

The smell in the bathroom was actually vomit inducing. We arrived late to the hotel and didn't really have time to complain and change rooms as we had dinner plans. We spoke to the receptionist on check out the next day and were advised this is the smell in every bathroom in Speyer. Simply not true. Even with windows left open it was horrible. Its a great shame because the rooms were nice and bathroom was a nice style but it wasn't the first time the receptionist heard this. Its as if they didn't install a water trap in the shower it stunk even when in the shower . I could not recommend this hotel on that basis. I even explained we used 2 bottles of water from the fridge as we felt sick from the smell and they refused to offer them for free on check out. Very disappointing stay. Also reception is not 24 hours.

Very friendly and helpful staff, superb location, cool old-modern-clean hotel design, spaceous and super clean rooms, nice breakfast. overall had a great stay.

The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful, they even came out to help us carry our bags. The overall building and common areas are very beautiful and the rooms are nice too. Everything was clean and the beds have great firm mattresses.

The description said that they had a hotel bar - they didn't. It also said that they had a Sauna in the room - they didn't. Dogs are allowed, but were not allowed at the breakfast area (which is understandable, but the buffet was well away from the seating area).

Beautiful building with tasteful interior design. Staff was very friendly. Hotel and room were spotless and super clean.

With over 30°C outside during our stay, the room which did not have an AC got quite warm and stuffy. There was a ventilator but it did not help much.
