The apartment has an amazing view on the sea and a good space for 4 people to stay for a week. The beach is right there in front of the building and as we were visiting in November it was completely empty. I can Imagine this is a perfect place to stay in the summer. Giuseppe was extremely kind and helpful, he let us in late ar night because of our flight delay, he was also easy to contact during the stay. The apartment is well equiped. A perfect starting point for Etna, Taormina, Catania and even Siracusa and Ragusa. The host advised us to visit Modica and it was the best trip of our whole stay, we’re very grateful for the recommendation!

Bear in mind that there is basically just one street which was completely empty in November. It would be impossible to stay there without a car. Even going basic shopping required a car at that time. Unfortunately there were ants in the kitchen area which made it impossible to leave any food on the counters.

The apartment was clean, very well equipped with stunning view from the terrace. The host Giuseppe was friendly and helpful from the moment we made the booking. He advised us where to find some good restaurants and open stores as we arrived in late September and lot of restaurants were already closed. The pebble beach in front of the apartment was clean and even at the beginning of October was the water warm enough for swimming.

I liked everything about this place. The view, location, how comfortable it was for a family.

Great, cosy apartment at Fondachello...we were there during our autumn holiday to enjoy some nice weather. We loved that the apartment has an outside space where we could enjoy the sunrise, have lunch and watch the sea in a quiet surroundings. Not much happening there at November, but that is exactly why we choose it. Functional kitchen, everything you need is there. Two bedrooms, we only used one. Easy to park around at this time of the year. Clean, great view, good light, nice to reach a lot of touristic places. The check in with Giuseppe was easily agreed, and he gave us a friendly welcome and explained all there is to know about the apartment. Easy going, easy to reach for any problems. Highly recommended.

Nothing really....we were very satisfied with everything, and lucky with the weather which is certainly a bonus.

Nothing in particular.

The kitchen is well equipped but the apartment as a whole is too small for a family of 5. The rooms are too small and because its partially an attic the ceiling is low in two of the rooms. The location of the apartment in the town is very nice - it is a penthouse in a four-story building right on the beach but there is no elevator so you're looking at a bit of a climb every time you come in. The town itself is a problem when we were there which was the beginning of October (off-season). The town is dead. No stores and very few restaurants are open. There are plenty of things within a 5-10 minute drive but almost everything within walking distance is closed. This does not go against the apartment or its owners in any way. They were very nice and helpful during our entire stay.
