Everything in the apartment was perfect and very thoughtful inclusions to add to a lovely stay.

Nothing that the owners could have improved upon but guests should be aware that because the building is very old there isn't an elevator and being a rooftop apartment going up and down with fairly heavy bags is quite precarious, especially the last set of stairs into the apartment, which are very steep. Please don't let this put you off though unless you have big heavy bags or aren't very good with stairs, as once in there the apartment itself is really nice.

The location was fantastic and could not imagine a better place to stay. The building has a lot of character. The property was very clean and had all the necessary facilities. Sitting outside on the terrace by the tower gives a unique atmosphere in the evenings.

Great location, literally around the corner from the Cathedral, close to bars and restaurants and the city walls. The outside terrace was lovely, a real chill zone. Loved Lucca, the highest compliment we could give it, is that it is a city where we would be happy to live. The locals were so friendly. Sabrina was a delight to deal with, great communication throughout. Will definitely return to Lucca in the future and wouldn't look for any other accommodation.

The terrace is delightful. The location is excellent. The apartment is well equipped and full of character.

We found the seating in the mezzanine area a little uncomfortable.

Chris, the owner, and Marta the manager were excellent and efficient communicators...made our pre arrival and arrival seamlessly easy...we were welcomed by Marta and the added touch of a chocolate pie for our kids and a bottle of wine for us was very special

We loved everything about the apartment

The location was excellent, easy to access all areas in the old city as well as to access our car parked outside the wall in free car bays. The apartment is up on the 4th level, so although there are only stairs to access the apt, the views and terrace balcony make it worth it! Three sleeping areas and 2 bathrooms were very handy for our family. The hosts were very friendly, attentive and responsive and helped us with our needs. The wine was a treat too! I would recommend this apt as the perfect place to stay in Lucca.

Location was perfect, close to train station and old city. The terrace was really good for chilling out. The kitchen was very well equipped.

There was no quilt, only blanket and sheet.
