Beautiful view from the porch. Close to major cities and quiet at night.

The cottage kitchen is well equipped. I easily cooked most of my meals during my two week stay. The downstairs bed is extremely comfortable and has warm linens. The widow's walk affords exquisite views of the little islands and Mount Brasil, and Pico mountain and São Jorge on clear days. The cottage is conveniently located, albeit on a busy road in the morning, between Praia and Angra. (Streaming music helps to muffle the car sounds.) It is a lovely, safe space and JoeCool and I enjoyed our stay.

****I wish Booking.com would emphasize all of the positive points I made, instead of leading with the one challenging point*****Throttled internet speeds for half my stay made it impossible to work many of the days. I sincerely hope that a larger data plan becomes a permanent addition. It is imperative for anyone who is telecommuting and stays longer than several days.

Nothing erevery tinhg was great

I loved this small cottage up on a hill with a beautiful view. Everything was perfect the host Mr. Alberto was wonderful always providing a lot of information about the area and always available when I needed it. The transfers done by Nuno were excellent, I requested that my food shopping be done since I would arrive late and would be retired and all my shopping was done to perfection. Very friendly host and I had everything I needed. I was greeted with traditional sweets Dona Amelia and some tasty wine liquor. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed and more.
