Great vinyl record collection!

We absolutely loved the cottage. All the retro details are just gorgeous and everything is catered for. The location on the waterfront is so pretty. We enjoyed the firepit, read a book in the hammock and also used the kayaks. It was perfect. Would love to come back. Lisa

Exactly what was promised. Property was clean and tidy with easy access to the lake in a quiet street.

We were very unlucky with the weather, but the cottage was a really cozy space to watch the rain falling on the lake. We had a really relaxing stay, listening to records, playing board games, going for a few walks and taking the kayaks out on the lake.

We had a great time in this cute house! The boys went fishing and caught a few fishes! I enjoyed listening to the disc record! Thank you for hosting us!

Brendan was a pleasure to deal with and always replied promptly to any query I had. The property was to die for, so much thought has gone into it. Pure bliss!

This was our 2nd stay at the lake house, and we will continue to return forever more. There is something so special about this place. It is a place of serenity and healing. Highly recommended.

The house is in a great location with very calming views over the lake at the front and an equally beautiful view out the back over the beautiful garden. The beach is a short bushwalk away and we loved using the canoes. The retro design makes the house very comfortable and it is very light and airy.

We absolutely loved our week away at the Lakehouse. It's such a beautiful property in such a unique spot. We will definitely be back.

The house is beautifully situated and designed. It envelopes you in its warmth and coziness. With its fairy lights, fire pit & the aqua hues of the creek - our stay was surreal, like a dream. We long to visit again when restrictions permit.

Everything about this place is wonderful -from the helpful responses of Brendan to all my numerous queries and requests, to the delightful renovation that has so tastefully turned this original coastal holiday home into the perfect pad for your weekend (or better still week long ) getaway! We absolutely loved our weekend here. So many thoughtful touches in the house, including beautiful lighting cool retro colours and the well tended gorgeous garden with fresh herbs ready for picking . We were invited to share the contents of the pantry, linen and towels were on hand, a big beautiful bath for us to try next time, firepit, hammock among the trees, as well as kayaks for paddling about on the lake. We also enjoyed working our way through the record selection too. Add to this our favourite coastal scenery, lakewater views, bush track and endless beaches and you can’t go wrong. Definitely recommend!

The entire process and venue was exactly as Brendan had described. The retro aspect of the venue with the record player was wonderful. The lack of a tv was not felt at all as the surroundings were very tranquil. I would def stay at the Lakehouse again. The only drawback was the fact that the lights at the front of the bakehouse did not work and it was difficult to see while the fire pit was used. The grill on the fire pit was also a bit tricky, as we needed it lower for the barbecue, so I do suggest getting a free standing barbecue for barbecues and having the fire pit as a stand-alone. Other than this, it was a wonderful stay. Thanks Brandon

The attention to detail makes this a truly comfortable and homely retreat. From the picturesque lake views , framed by the bifold windows , which provide a very interactive space, to the beautiful planting’s and garden architecture . The retro decor , books & records help you slip easily into holiday mode. Having linen provided , making no extra work on arrival is a bonus. :) We enjoyed cooking and sharing memorable meals together , and if there was a condiment we forgot to bring , it was there in the pantry for us. Brendan was very easy to deal with and very obliging . Loved our time at your ‘Lake house’ and made lots of memories together!

Fabulous property with a great position on the lake. Felt right at home for our 10 day stay and would highly recommend. Plenty of food in the pantry which made us feel really welcome. Received so many positive comments from passers by about the property. Expertly curated.

What a beautiful home you’ve created ! Absolutely loved waking up to that lake view every morning and having brekky on the deck. From the record player to all the retro furniture I just loved it. So fantastic going somewhere and being supplied with condaments ! Meant we didn’t have to go and buy salt, sugar, pepper and sauce ! I adored your gardens and the mint from the herb garden was perfect for our mojitio! The kayaks were put to good use as we kayaked to the beach everyday. The hammock also got a fair workout in the afternoon with a good book in hand. It’s just the perfect location, close to Ulladulla and 2 minutes from the beach. Thanks again, we would love to come back !

All the efforts and the small details make the house unique, from the herbal garden, the hammock to the well equipped quitchen - everything is thought of. The location is amazing, the calmness of the lake views and walking distance to the beach make it the perfect gateaway from the busy city. If you have the chance, stay there - it was honestly the best accommodation on our whole trip and probably on of the most welcoming rental homes I have ever stayed in!

Had a great time in your home. The house has been beautifully pieced together with attention to detail in every corner including the wonderful laundry. We had fun playing games and listening to old and new records. Thank for such a lovely to stay. Both young and old were pleased and planning to come back.

The decor & vibe on this river side shack is nothing short of perfect . The detail in every nook is retro perfection .The record player helped us to sound track our stay . Fair to say we loved it !
