As a young family we loved our stay at Creta Vitalis, the staff were very very friendly and the breakfast was plentiful. The rooms are spacious and cleaned daily with fresh towels. We will come back one day! and thanks again for the honey!!

The room was very comfortable. Everything was above our expectations. The view from the pool and balcony was outstanding. We especially loved how the staff welcomed us and were always ready to make our stay memorable. We will definitely stay at this place if we visit Chania again.

Very kind and helpful owners, it is a family hotel. We were in a bungalow with sea view balkony, it is perfect for two people, if you use only for sleep and breakfast. The Kalathas beach and a very good taverna are only 4-5 min. by walk. We loved it! We didn't have car, but the taxi was only 25 euro from the airport. We were in Chania and Stavros by bus.

Kalathas is a bit noisy, because of the airplanes.

Walls are thin so can be noisy. Have to catch taxi to town if you want to reach before 8am and return after 8pm.

I loved the calming, relaxing atmosphere and interior, the hotel and pool area is very clean. Most of the staff were extremely nice and forthcoming/welcoming and freely help out with recommendations for food, beaches etc. Very beautiful and natural flowering/gardening outside and lots of shade available.

Sometimes noisy, especially during the nights depending on the other guests. most nights the lights also weren't turned off on the corridors and shone through underneath the door which can be fixed with a towel. Some nights one could hear the phone at the reception ring multiple times.

the hotel’s style is true to the photos very Greek, very beautiful very relaxing. If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city life, this is the hotel for you! Quiet, tranquil and peaceful all come to mind. Staff are all very helpful, very welcoming and it’s a great hotel for if you’re travelling with young ones! thank you to Chris for playing with my son every evening and keeping him company! swimming pool has a gorgeous view over the sea too

Hotel is in a good location for Kalathas beach and also Chania - easy to take the bus there if you don't have a car. Pool is great and the gardens are lovely. Breakfast is pretty good, lots of local pastries. Rooms have insect nets on the doors which is good as the mosquitoes can be awful. There are a couple of good restaurants nearby. Beds are comfortable and the rooms have AC and a fridge (useful if you want to stock up on cheese to take home!)

There is no soundproofing at all - you will hear everything going on in the corridors, so take earplugs. Rooms near the road are also very noisy from traffic and all the planes flying overhead (not the hotel's fault of course). The bathroom in our room was very small and it's a wet room which means the whole floor is wet after a shower - not nice to walk on if you want to go to the toilet, brush your teeth etc. Rooms were cleaned every day which was good, but they didn't change the mugs or glasses which meant I had to drink from the same dirty coffee mug/glass for a week. Most of the staff were lovely and helpful but there was a bit of a language barrier with some so communication could be a bit tricky (there was a lot of confusion when I tried to ask for a clean coffee cup, for example).

Wonderful family hotel! Very good location next to Kalatas beach with great sea views from the rooms and the pool. There is a bus stop 100 meters from the hotel, which takes you to Chania and Stavros. Not far from the hotel there is a shop with all the necessary drinks, food, fruits and vegetables. There are several taverns in the area right on the beach! The staff at the hotel are wonderful people, very radiant and responsive, always ready to assist you with information! There was a nice, rich breakfast. My family and I were very happy! :)

the location is perfect, easy walk 8 minute walk to Kalathas beach, also 2 very nice restaurants in same distance. My first holiday as a solo traveler, I was made to feel so welcome and Maria helped me so much with whatever I needed. Room with immaculate every time I returned home.

Only thing I’d say is planes fly over a few times a day but that’s no reflection on the property as I can’t be helped.

People are amazing very friendly, good breakfast very close to amazing beach and very clean rooms. I really high recommend this place

Friendly staff.wifi worked stable and covered all the territory. Nice location and big green territory. Nice pool, Room service changed towels every day. Breakfast was OK, but for 5 euro you could not dream for more, good value. Amazing view. Absolutely adorable!

Bed uncomfortable. Mosquitos ( even in October) and spiders in the room. Bathroom door was made of glass and could not be closed properly.
