The breakfast was superb, the fruit was delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. The full english was delicious, very well cooked piping hot and lots of toast too. The house itself was fabulous, the owners a husband and wife team were very helpful and friendly. They had great pride in their beautiful home, the room where you had breakfast was wonderful, we were there over the Christmas period so we got to have a Christmas tree and very tasteful decorations to see. Good location to walk into Torquay.

I wish we had stayed in the India room, the bathroom was out of this world. There are 6 rooms and they are all named after a country e.g; India, Bali, Tuscany, Egypt.

The friendliness of the owners and the themed room's

Martyn and Elaine were fantastic, so friendly and helpful. The hotel was immaculate and the rooms were magnificent. The breakfast was delicious and the menu had everything. A real gem of a hotel run by lovely people who know what they’re doing.

Everything was perfect,one of the best we have stayed at in Torquay...lovely owners and nothing was too much trouble...outstanding..👌👌👌

My vegetarian breakfast was superb and my husband said his meat version was also great. The location was ten minutes from the front (up the hill, but most of Torquay is). The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful.

We were greeted with a pot of tea and cake. The owners were very informative with the local area and were able to suggest places to eat. They gave us a map with different eateries and a walking route to get us to town and back. Breakfast the next morning was lovely and cooked fresh.

Martyn & Elaine were very welcoming, the tea and homemade flapjacks were delicious. They explained the local area, recommending bars and restaurants and showed the route back avoiding the hill. The room was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. The breakfast was great, delicious fresh fruit salad and a good full English.

The owners Martin and Elaine were very friendly, attentive, easy going, very nice and relaxed easy to talk to, we were welcomed in with a pot of tea straight away which was lovely. They helped by giving suggestions where to eat and places to go and explore, how to get to our friends, all round very lovely couple. The hotel was immaculately clean and smelt so fresh, the nice smell of breakfast in the morning was delicious. The décor is absolutely amazing and so beautifully maintained too. Lovely views and very peaceful. The room was a very decent size double room with an equally very decently sized ensuite with a walk in shower all beautifully designed and had everything we needed, we were asked if we required anything more which was also so nice and thoughtful. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and had a great choice from the cooked menu and the continental breakfast menu too. Will definitely stay again 100%
