We likes The location . Frist time at Öland. Not the last. Drink in the hotel was very very high and not of the best. Had to park the cars away from the hotel. Was told that we could unload outside but could not.

loved the tradition and history of the beautiful old hotel. Also loved the location and the staff was very accommodating.

our biggest issue was at the air conditioning didn’t work for two out of our three days there. It was uncomfortable and difficult to sleep.

great stay for a visit to Öland and Borgholm. Excellent food in the restaurant, unexpectedly good and high level cuisine and very good service, great and comprehensive wine list. Quiet location at the centre of Borgholm.

the only tear drop was, that there was now unscented black tea served for breakfast, no Assam, Ceylon b.fast or Darjeeling, only scented stuff like Earl Grey or Roiboos. Well, looks like a 1st world problem, I admit :)

The room was huge and the breakfast amazing with a lot of options to eat

The lights in the room were not the best, it would be nice with some extra lights around the beds. The shower handle was a bit messed up, coming water in all directions

Beautiful herb garden which was lovely to sit in, in the evening. Reasonably priced homemade pizzas and cocktails added to these wonderful al fresco evenings. Beautiful furniture in the hotel. Decorated tastefully with a boutique feel.

We didn’t like Borgholm itself so wish the hotel had been elsewhere on the island!

Everything from the reception to the room

Spacious room with very comfortable bed and a beautiful lobby with furniture from local producers. And the best of all, a fantastic garden where we enjoyed drinks i. The evening and breakfast in the morning.

Everything was very new, beautifully designed and fresh. Great service. Wonderful herbal garden.

Cannot find anything to dislike.

Quiet! No noise so a good nights sleep.

Prices in the restaurant could be better.
