The apartment is ideally located to go hiking in the Picos de Europa area. It is clean, it offers a swimming pool, together with a sauna and a hammam. Our host was very nice.

The property was easy to find and well located. Easy to park. We were happy to be a little bit outside of touristy Potes. Close enough to walk or a short drive. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Check-in was easy and straight forward. The property is very well looked after and clean. It's very quiet in the evening, and we really enjoyed early morning walks by the river.

The apartment has a great spa set-up. It's evident they invested in building a very high quality spa area, which is all very welcoming. The pool was nice. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not hot. We asked about it, and they were very quick to respond, but it only ever got warm, never hot enough to get in. In an attempt to save energy, the sauna is switched off after each use, which I can understand, however it takes an hour, not 15mins as suggested, to get up to temperature. This is perfectly fine if you are not on holiday and can plan more easily, but it would be nice to just get in the sauna when it suits. Perhaps it could be turned on around 3 or 4 and left on until the spa closes? The apartment was great, but it lacks a little in kitchen. It's time to update the knives, cutting board, etc. These small details made the difference between a good and a great stay.
