Lovely rooms - clean, spacious and had all that I needed. Very friendly staff. I have already booked my next stay!

Only issue was that the fridge was a bit too cold and thus froze my food - however this was handled really well by staff when I communicated this issue.

This is just a personal opinion but, as at many motels/hotels in New Zealand, I find the beds very soft. Always gives me a sore back and you have to put up with the dreaded partner roll together. Again, the bed in this motel, at this price point, was about the usual New Zealand standard and this is just a personal annoyance.

clean and tidy. even though it was next to the main road it was still quiet and peaceful

not having a second toilet somewhere to do the number 2 but this is at no fault of the place I’m used to there being communal toilets at places I stay.

Everything friendly check in staff and clean good rooms
