The experience was so much more than expected: from check in throughout the whole stay and the host even dropped us off at the Otranto station when we were ready to leave. The facilities were clean and spacious. The pool - highlight of a dusty backpacking trip. Sweet Italian breakfast with a choice of a savoury treat and a yoghurt. The host - looks serious, however is very lovely and helpful. The level of hospitality is just amazing. Can’t put to words the experience we had here, just great!

Before arriving to La Carcara we were disappointed in the italian cuisine. At La Carcara this changed and we understood that by eating in restaurants you don't get to know how the real italian food is. The food (both at breakfast and at dinner) at La Carcara was PERFECT and so versatile!! The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming! They gave us good advices on what places to visit. The environment was cozy and all the facilities were very clean. We highly recommend this place! It is a must see!!

Era squisito!!!! La Carcara was a wonderful place to stay for people exploring Puglia. We stayed here for 2 weeks and could've stayed forever. Pool-side relaxation in the mornings, fresh homemade cake and cappuccinos for breakfast, wonderful local guidance, and homemade dinners with local ingredients. This family-run establishment gives you the Italian home away from home that you never knew existed. If you are fortunate enough to have this place available during your trip, book immediately. The shower pressure was very low, took ages to wash hair!
