This property was a perfect location in Furnas, within easy walking distance of the Terra Nostra Parque and thermal pools, and other areas of thermal activity. The house was lovely, traditional with all modern amenities!

The only improvement we would suggest, for all the properties we stayed in the Azores, would be to provide fans. It was apparently a hotter than normal summer, with high humidity, and even in September, we found it uncomfortably warm and humid for sleeping.

The house was wonderful! The rooms were clean and we had a big beautiful back yard. The garden was so cozy and fun. The kitchen was fully stocked and the living room had all the TV stations you would want.

Although the location is wonderful, you must make a note that it is right next to a church and they ring the bells from 8 AM until about 10 PM. If you don't mind the bells you will enjoy it. There are also a ton of pigeons and doves. If you like being wakened at 5 or 6 AM by cooing, then you will love this place. The bedrooms are on a very busy road. You are near the hot springs, so people walk and yell all day and into the evening on that street. There is parking for this home, but other people park in the driveway constantly. We had to run around to find the people who had parked in our spot (often from the church) to have them move their cars. The garbage truck comes to remove the garbage every morning very early. It is loud. If you can sleep through all of that, then you will love this place!

The property was tastefully furnished, very clean and the kitchen fully equipped. Communication with the owner was excellent with most helpful advice.

There was little to dislike.

this is a gem of a house, perfectly located near all the attractions in Furnas, tastfully decorated and with a beautiful garden.

It is a wonderfully laid out and decorated house; the backyard is beautiful with its plants and furniture and wall. The location in the town is convenient close to the shops and botanical garden; the House Book and maps were useful with all the information; great parking for two cars.

There was limited space to put your own stuff as the place was full of their own things, too many dishes, full drawers, Also all of the appliances are tired and did not work well and were hard to figure out. We never met the owners. As Americans we missed the window screens.

The most amazing house. Very homy and cozy, well equipped,location in Furnas was great and central, Alexandra is a great host and helped us alot. We loved that place and would definitely love to come back!
