The cottage was so lovely in a fantastic location, Glen coe is a must to visit, especially for photography, didn't do much walking,but seen some lovely views in oban and Fort William, also went to look around the slate quarry and a good drive around the loch from Glen coe village to lochleven ,

There was nothing to dislike about this cottage or location

Location, perfect, accomodation, spacious and well fitted. I loved the big double shower, room to move! Very comfortable all round, we had everything we needed. Parking right next to the property so no problems there, even the neighbours were friendly. Local COOP should have everything you need but Fort William is only 14 miles away, Aldi, Lidl, Morrisons, M&S Food and more tourist and outdoor shops than you'll ever need. As you'd imagine, endless walks in the area. Strongly recommend a good map and boots. Some of the paths aren't that clear, (nearly missed the fork to Duror Glen at the cairn) and, a lot of boggy areas, fairly easy to navigate but it wasn't that wet when we were there. Nice to sit out the back with a can of lager when we got back. Great location, really good accomodation and a very freindly host in Shirley.
