Welcoming feel with board games, free WiFi and plenty of dishwasher tablets/tea towels, salt and pepper. Cosy comfy beds.

Not sure if it didn't work or if it wasn't clear but we couldn't get the spa bath jets to work.

Great central location, cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. Milk, tea,coffee and juice were welcome after a long journey. Chip shop and news agent just down the road.

Road was quite busy but didn’t affect us at all.

Great place. Location was good for walks. Contact with host was very good, very kindly was flexible about checking out time. Local pub called the Ship was just over the road. We had everything that we needed!

Staff were very helpful. Loved the patio.

Everything was good. We even asked about the possibility of having the use of a barbecue, and one was provided, with coals, lighter, tools etc by early the next morning. The barbecue itself was new.

The only annoyance was that although there were several signs reminding us not to smoke in various places outside the property, (we don’t), the neighbouring property didn’t seem to have the same consideration. On several occasions, there was someone smoking outside the next door property, so that the smoke came in our lounge windows.

I liked everything about my stay at penrith Lodge.

There was nothing I didn't like

Outdoor patio area. Good bedding and towels. Well equipped kitchen. Good instructions and information. Nice lanes up the hills at the back for walking.

No surface or shelf in bathrooms to put toiletries. High traffic on main road during day.

Everything was provided, a fully equipped kitchen and even tea, coffee, and even milk in the fridge! Plenty of towels, complimentary soaps and shampoos, hairdryer, iron - we wanted for nothing!

Well equipped and helpful owner. Well set out and everything provided that you may need. Sky TV included, including movies and sport - fab. Beds reasonably comfortable.

Location is next to a busy road - very noisy and may be considered unsafe for runaway children. Chip shop a few doors down (lovey chips) but again creates a lot of traffic and noise. Neighbouring property noisy and drunk late at night, causing noise and concern.
