Great shared kitchen facilities, very well equipped. Even had a small herb garden. Showers and toilets nice and clean. Room was already warm when we arrived. Having tennis racquets and ball to use during our stay was great

run down… a bit untidy.. bbq needs cleaning and the cabin needs new carpet. you should probably silicone the shower in the cabin that will rot eventually

Enough utensils/pots/etc for everyone to use even when the kitchen was busy. (It was an issue that some of the guests didn't clean up after them, so you had to do that before using that space.) Rooms were comfy and with plenty of room. The two heaters and great bedding kept us warm even with the snow falling, and an icy, clear night the following night. Loved the herb garden patch. The location was quiet, close to other facilities, and easy to find. Instructions were clear at check in. Appreciated the hot water bottles being available even though we didn't need them.

It probably needs a sign to beware of the wooden steps after a cold clear night as there was unseen iciness on them at breakfast time. I thought there might be ice so took care, but others not used to such conditions might take a tumble. I didn't realise the distance in the open between the rooms and the kitchen so I wouldn't stay there in winter. We had to park on the road side so it would be not fun to be unloading in the cold wind and/or rain.

Well equiped and clean communal kitchen. Twin room clean and comfortable. The best thing though was that from early in the night it was very quiet.

Great location, very friendly staff. Regularly cleaned & very hygienic. Spacious with good facilities. An honesty box for the washing powder. Given a free towel to use. Good amount of plugs and hangers. Shower was well maintained.

No pegs available for hanging clothes out on the line. Doors open and lights on until late which attracted a lot of moths etc. The oven was broken. Unfortunately, didn't see any of the pets but could hear the sheep at night!!

The beds were comfy, the accommodation was close to town, the kitchen and lounge were really nice.

We booked the place because of the advertised animals but were very disappointed that there were only two chickens and two baby ducks to see during the whole stay. The buildings were also quite old and run down - marks on the walls, quite old bathrooms and showers. The lounge and kitchen were great but the rest wasn't so nice.
