Had a beautiful stay at this property. very peaceful surrounded my farm land. the pool was perfect for refreshing dip after my long day of hiking. the rooms are very comfortable with nice patios to watch sunset. And they provide the most delicious home cooked breakfast! wish I had stayed another night for the breakfast:) Definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area!

Tranquility at its best! While the rooms are not spacious, the outdoor areas are lovely and the breakfast is beautiful. The staff were very helpful and charming. Lots of walking trails around the area and bikes are available for use at the property.

Room was great, albeit a little small in the bathroom department! But it didn't cause us any problems - we are both smallish people! Breakfast was, as ever, absolutely superb, lots of fresh local goodies. No complaints there!

Raquel and Andre went out of their way to provide us with the information, services and amenities to make our holiday a most memorable one. The staff was courteous, professional and prompt. The gardens, pool and property were exquisite and well maintained. The breakfast, snacks and dinner were fabulous!

Very nice location in a country setting. The staff was extremely nice and made us feel very welcome. The property and room was very nice.

As a guest hiking the Fisherman’s Trail, we were without a car. Getting transportation back to the town is a bit challenging. But fortunately the staff at the hotel was able to help us arrange. Something important to consider. It is unfortunate that there isn’t a better arrangement for transportation, especially for hikers.

Nice pool area. Breakfast was done at the terraces of the rooms, for the larger ones at least. Very good in times of Corona and I would even recommend to offer this service later on.

Gardner cutting grass while guest are having breakfast at the table. Raquel was very nice. The owner or manager was alking around in the morning a little bit like an officer. Felt a bit strange. A bit expensive for this area. Especially in lower seasons.

The hotel is gorgeous, and the surrounding trees and fields, and many sitting/lying areas give you a feel of space and relaxation. The internal garden is also very well landscaped, which adds to the relaxation feeling of this hotel. The pool is small, but great for a quick dip when sunbathing. You can order lunch and drinks at the pool, which is great if you feel like staying in for the day. You can also order dinner, if you really don't feel like going out, but it's quite expensive compared to nearby restaurant options. Breakfast was delicious, better than most hotels I've stayed in - fresh mango, strawberries etc. and really yummy bread. The hotel manager, Raquel, was very friendly and helpful, as was the owner who was often around. The bedroom was nicely decorated, with fridge, lovely bathroom with powerful shower, as well as outdoor seating in the private patio area.

The light outside the bathroom window was always on at night, and since the bathroom door is glass, it means you have to sleep with that light glowing in. Might not bother some people, but I need darkness to fall asleep. The bedroom is quite small, in particular not much floor space except to walk around the bed. This meant that luggage has to lie on the floor right next to the bed, and there is no luggage stand. There is no air conditioning, which is not uncommon in Portugal, but the provided fan didn't really blow a breeze and was extremely loud so could not be used overnight. There were also several dogs nearby that barked for hours through the night. The linen on the bed was comfortable, but the mattress itself had hard springs which I found uncomfortable. Consequently I didn't sleep very well at this hotel, despite it otherwise being a relaxing place.
