Wonderful views, quiet country road. Comfortable and clean house.

This property is absolutely beautiful and the quiet was a wonderful change from our normal bustling lives. There was plenty of space for the 11 of us and all ages enjoyed themselves. We loved the shelves with a variety of books, board games puzzles, and toys. We would definitely go again!

Everything summer should be. Perfect setting for our family to unwind and enjoy being with each other. House was super clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The pond was perfect for floating - the Adirondack chairs under the trees perfect for book reading - the extensive deck, perfect for dining outside. We will be back.

Beautiful house and deck, grounds. All supplies, bedding provided. The kids enjoyed the pond. We all enjoyed the walking trails. Very quiet except for thunder!!. The entire group had a very good time together. This is the 20th year we have done a family week. The oldest grandchild is now 23, youngest is 10. We would recommend this property. 👌

We can’t remember how many time’s we’ve stayed at this amazing house! Very relaxing “all inclusive” home…if only it had a butler to bring me my afternoon gin and tonic down by the pond! lol We already booked for next summer!

Would leave in the morning on our motorcycles and be back for dinner! Spent the evening around a fire pit enjoying the outdoors! Do it again the next day! Nice place to go and relax! Everything we needed to get by that week was there. Would go back again no problem!

This property was such a wonderful place for a group of friends to enjoy a weekend away. Some of us went skiing in ludlow while others drove around and found fun shops and places to eat. There is a lot to do if you’re willing to drive a little, but the house itself is well-equipped with everything you’d need for a staycation as well. We were all wowed by how amazing this home was and how comfortable we were from the minute we stepped in. Recommend to anyone looking for a fun getaway to a beautiful home in a private neighborhood!

Great house with everything you need in it, plus huge backyard with a pond and fire pit. During our stay we needed a grill that was put away for the winter. Christina and her helper Rachel sorted it out in a matter of a few hours and made our stay unforgettable! Definitely would stay there again and recommend it to anyone who wants to have a good time in Vermont!

We stayed here over Christmas with four kids ages 5-14 and three adults. The house is much bigger inside than we expected and we loved the layout. Had a wonderful stay!

The property was fantastic and just what we needed.

Beautiful location in Vermont and huge, generally well equipped house. Pretty remote, so bring food because you will have to drive several miles to get to the nearest store or eatery. Original listing said check-in was at 4:00, but just days before our trip, I received an email saying it was at 5:00. Very annoying since I had told all my guests 4:00. I emailed the owner who said that 4:00 was fine because no other guests were scheduled just before our arrival, so it worked out, but it was still annoying. Owner has lots of rules as well, like NO SHOES in the house. I get it, but, again, I did not know that until just before our stay, and I had to make sure I let everyone know. This was a bit of a turnoff for me. There also was no dishwasher detergent, so we had to go out and buy some. Small microwave which took a while to heat food. Communication with owner was through VRBO so a little slow, but she was accommodating.

This property was more than we expected. Private location with rolling views. Very clean and spacious. Would most definitely book again!

Big outdoor area, many activities for kids.

We were so happy to have found such a special place to stay for the weekend. The house is well cared for and it has a great home feel. We had a busy time as we were there for a wedding. But we would love to come again.

This is a terrific place to stay! The house is clean and comfortable and the property is quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Many attractions within an hours drive hour such as Lake George, Killington, mountain biking, Manchester, the Dorset Quarry…to name a few. But best of all is the pond and beautiful grounds right out the back door. We did something new this year and went clay bird shooting at the Mountain Top Inn which was where we spent our honeymoon 30 years ago! Our teen boys had a blast. Already planning to book our 2 weeks for next year! Thank you for sharing your home!

Everything was just as it looks on the listing. Peaceful, quiet, clean, and spacious. We enjoyed every bit of it especially the beautiful large deck with room for family from the area to come gather and visit. We had a little trouble with the smoke detectors and they were right on it when we called. We appreciated it all. Thank you for sharing your property.

We had a wonderful stay in Middletown Springs! This house is such a great space for our family. Our daughters each brought along a friend and they had a blast. Between the game room, the pond...and the kitchen, the kids roamed and enjoyed our long weekend. The mountain bike trails nearby are a lot of fun and taking a dip in the pond after is refreshing. Well maintained property with a lot of space both indoor and outdoor for our family of 8. We love the little pond, the boat provided, the fire pit and spacious deck seating in a park-like setting. Thank you for all you provided!

We stayed for 3 weeks in August. There was an infestation of a Blue-Green Algae, which from everything we read on the internet, it said do not go swimming in it. To be honest, I know the owner, and we did complain, and she did have a Pond Guy come down to treat it and try to remove it, the best he could. It was extremely warm and humid there in August, and this seemed to make the Algae growth worse. So for the entire 3 weeds we did not swim in the Pond. I did a lot of research into this Algae. It could be caused by the run-off of fertilizers and pesticides.

We had a wonderful experience during our stay. Although there was a small miscommunication about the house cleaning, Christina handled it professionally and addressed it promptly. I will not hesitate to come back, especially during the summer! Thank you. Christina for hosting us.

it was so beautiful the house and the property . I would stay here again with no problem. the ride to killington mountain was not bad at all either.

My group of friends and I were looking for a weekend getaway and this was the perfect place! We skied at Okemo and Killington, neither of which were too far of a drive from the house. There was plenty of space for all of us, and it was quiet and cozy despite the freezing temperatures outside. The host was very responsive and provided detailed information for our stay prior to checking in which was appreciated! Would love to come back when the temperatures are warmer!

Highly recommend this property! We had a wonderful stay. We even got lucky with some snow on the ground for the kids to play in. Lovely property to relax by. Hope to visit again soon.

We loved our two weeks at this property. It was so peaceful and provided for a perfect vacation. The house is well-stocked with everything you need and is located in a small town in the hills. It's perfect for long walks, bike rides, exploring, and just sitting by the fireplace and reading. Great spot!

Beautiful, clean home with plenty of space for the kids to run around and explore.

We were a multigenerational family of 6 who spent two nights in Middletown Springs. Our granddaughters were in a mountain bike race at Slate Valley, and this house was perfect in every way. The location was excellent - only 10 minutes from the mountain bike trails. The layout of the house was great with bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs and downstairs.(The Mom in group was on crutches) It is always nice to have the tv room separate from the living room. The open concept living room, dining room and kitchen make for great opportunities to socialize. The 12 and 14 year-olds loved the pond and paddle boat, and we all enjoyed some rousing games of ping pong in the basement. The deck is lovely and large. The house is well equipped, clean and comfortable. We wish we could have been there longer and we hope to come back.

We’ve rented this house almost every summer for the last 14 (?) years and all I can say is that it is the most relaxing and peaceful time you can spend with family/friends. It is perfect for families with young kids but also great to unplug with your teens. Swimming in the pond, walking and biking on the quiet street, hiking nearby and smores by the campfire…perfect!

I believe this was our fifth time staying here. We love it. If your looking for a place to reconnect with your family, this place is perfect
