The house was clean, the check in process super easy, the kitchen well stocked, big garden for our dog to sun bake, gorgeous dog friendly local beach. We had a lovely stay, thank you.

My family had a wonderful time during our stay. The location was perfect. View of the bay and only a short walk to the beach. The outdoor are was wonderful, a nice breeze made this a very comfortable place to relax

This home was lovely for the week- modernised and comfortable for our fam of four and a granny flat for three friends to join us. Quiet location with a large yard. Kitchen was well stocked and the bbq area was great. Dog friendly but no fencing around the front or side year made containing our pup challenging- was on a lead nearly all week .

Very pleasant, relaxing stay. Conveniently located near beach and with a playground just around the corner. Good selection of eateries nearby including a cafe with fabulous coffee! So lovely to have a holiday where our dog can be with us at the house and on the beach.

The property is very equipped with all your cooking needs. Fly screens would be ideal addition to this property to allow the natural ocean breeze to flow through the property rather than needing to use the Air. conditioner. Overall, a great and comfortable place to stay for our family.

Great location, property very well looked after and the extras of spices, games,beautifully organised cupboards and access to the cutlery and crockery were great.

Whilst the bathroom is a bit dated, the white goods are all modern and easy to use apart from the stove which appears to have heating issues . Apart from a small area at the back the property is not fenced so is difficult for dogs to be outside. Overall though the property is in a great location , was clean and tidy and we enjoyed our stay there.

We really appreciated the attention to detail that the owners had done to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We loved the sunsets and the birds visiting the bird bath. Our daughter and her husband were well accommodated with their baby in the flat. Thank you we loved it.

We had a lovely time with our dog at Gerohn House. Communication was fast and polite with the owners and we found fresh towels folded for us as if it were a hotel! Spices a d condiments galore in the kitchen too. S new state of the art tv, but you will need to use your phone as a hotspot. Perfectly situated facing the river (beautiful sunsets from the big windows of the house) and a short walk straight up the road to the beach which is off leash at certain hours, and stretches for miles. Location couldn't be better. We rented both the studio and the house - the studio is not the separate structure you may see in the photos, that is a storage shed you don't have access to. The studio bathroom is not inside the studio but next to it. Some things worth noting when considering this house is that the garden is not fenced, there is plenty of space to play with your dog but not fenced. There is a small dog run fenced off next to the house with a dog house and unfortunately many plants too which probably need to be cut back as there's not much space for the dog to move around. We had some plumbing issues with the sink and a bunch of friendly neighbours came as soon as we contacted the owners, gave a nice local vibe to the whole situation. The house is an older home, but perfect to enjoy holidays with your pooch and your family. We rented it in winter so appreciated the air con units and heaters supplied.

We just stayed this long weekend and had an amazing time. Geraldine was really lovely and answered straight away any questions. The house was so lovely - clean, well equipped (we loved the little spices) and the fact we could have our dog with us. The house is so close to the beach (which my dog and nephews absolutely loved!) we could walk there, and the shops and bowling club not far. Thank you Geraldine for the most beautiful stay, we will definitely be coming back x

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gerohn House. The house had everything we needed (super comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, so close to the beach and a big yard for the kids and dogs). The only issues we had were there was no wifi and no tv reception at all. Other than that, the proximity to the beautiful beach and cute little town was the highlight. Thanks for having us!

We had a fantastic time at Gerohn. The house is light and airy with lovely views of the Lake. The beach is also close by with 2 patrolled options for kids. The garden is beautiful with loads of visiting birds. We enjoyed the outdoor bbqing option most evenings. The house is well cared for and felt very welcoming and homely. Both Geraldine and John were a pleasure to deal with and very helpful. We will definitely be back.

The house was functional and neat. The beds were comfortable and garden well maintained. Short walk to the beach and nice bay view. We brought our two dogs along and they enjoyed the stay.

The house has lovely views of the water and the kitchen in very well equipped. Unfortunately the shower screen in the spare bathroom was broken and we found broken glass on the bathroom floor. In addition the BBQ plate was very dirty. The house definitely needs some maintenance.

The house was clean and well furnished, we only used the front half. The beautiful big windows let the light and view in. The garden brings a million native birds which was so nice. A quick walk to the beach. G was exceptionally helpful and professional for our last minute visit. It would be nice to have better pillows and a flatscreen on the kitchen door for the breeze, although aircon was excellent. Thanks.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 week stay. Clean, easy to live in all you need for a beach holiday. Outdoor area, trampoline for the kids, walk to the beach or local shops. Friendly neighbours.

My wife and I recently stayed at Gerohn for a week, as the accommodation we originally wanted had been booked for that period of time. On first arriving we immediately felt a lack of privacy as the house is situated on the bend of Whistler and the Mall with no fences and all the houses opposite looking directly at the house. The house is neat enough inside with pretty much everything you need for a holiday stay, bed linen, towels etc are supplied, but bring your own face cloths which were noticeably missing. The house has floor boards throughout which is appealing, however the single beds in the second room are on casters which, when you sleep in and turn so does the whole bed travel across the floor in unison. So I had to place my running shoes under the casters to remediate the problem. Another noticeable minus for Gerohn was the complete absence of fly/insect screens which, during the hotter months becomes open house for these unwanted critters. There is an electronic insect zapper outside the second bedroom, but you have to turn this off before you retire for the night as the light from this makes it impossible to sleep. There are ceiling fans which I opted to use nightly with the windows closed. And finally, there is a huge problem with cockroaches is the house, daily I would terminate at least 4 of these pests, some of which leaving their calling cards on my pillow case, which I threw away during our stay. The owners were prompt and very pleasant to deal with, we had no issues at all in that regard, but in all they really need to look at some of the issues I've raised here to warrant me giving Gerohn any more than two stars. Needless to say we enjoyed our stay in this beautiful part of the world, Culburra.

Had a great weekend at Gerohn House. Great location, walking distance to shops and beach. All amenities you need at the house (including big screen TV which came in handy for the NRL finals). Gerladine was very responsive and friendly when making the booking. Look forward to our next stay. Craig.

Well equipped and comfortable house ideally located in a quiet street. Only improvements to request are to upgrade the bathroom and replace the solar water heater (its either cold or scalding hot). Culburra Beach is a great family location; ideal for beaches, boating and family cycling.

Gerohn House is a quiet haven at Culburra Beach. Well appointed and comfortable and just a short stroll to the beach. Abundant bird life and lovely large garden to relax, eat and play in. Good for the extended family group with separate accommodation attached to the house but with separate entry, kitchenette and bathroom/laundry. Would happily recommend and owners very helpful.

We had my partner and 2 daughters stay and also 2 mates in the attached unit. The house was plenty big enough for all of us. It was within walking distance to beach, shops and lake. Perfect spot to be in and the rates were even better, we will deffinately be staying their again.
