We had a great vacation here. The house had everything we needed. I only gave 4 stars on accuracy of online listing because the house is no longer a cream color. Its a teal. I didn't think we had the right house when we pulled up. The proximity to the public beach access was great! Thank you so much for the use of your lovely house!

This property is exactly as listed. You get what you pay for. It sits less than a block from the public beach access yet you still get an ocean view being one block away from the ocean. Dawn is a wonderful host who replies in a timely manner but she is also beyond kind. My fiancée left his suits in the dryer and Dawn was even willing to mail them back to us. You will not be disappointed with this rental. I highly recommend to anyone!

House was beautiful. Great location with easy access to the beach. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels too. Lots of room for the grandkids to run around. Highly recommend for a family vacation.

Really enjoyed the place beach access 5 step away close to everything you can walk. Nice deck and very comfortable. Games for everyone upstairs in that area. Great bed TVs in every room except one. Owner very east to talk to.

This property was great for my family. Plenty of beds and a separate living space when the kids wanted to watch a movie. It was super convenient to beach access. A basic beach house with all the necessities. The carpet upstairs does need replacing but I understand that is on the agenda. I was concerned about the low railings on both the exterior porch as well as the interior loft. They seemed lower than standard which had me on guard for the younger kids. Otherwise, a pleasant stay and we would likely stay here again. You can't beat the location--close to everything.

We had a blast. The house was just as advertised. We had so much fun.

The house was smaller than we thought but we had a good time. The house was close enough to the beach. The house is in need for remodeling. There were stains on the carpet, scratches on furniture, some of the tile on the wall was coming off, there was a towel as a curtain, no trash can space. The trash can was filled up on the day we arrived and had to take our trash to another area. We finally had trash can space the day we left. We had problems with the internet. Our overall experience was good.

We had a wonderful stay at Beach Haven. The location was perfect and the house was just what we needed for 8 adults and 1 toddler. The house was one of the cleanest rentals we’ve stayed in. The kitchen could be a little better stocked but we ate almost all meals out so it didn’t bother us. Thank you Dawn!

Dawn was incredibly responsive to my questions prior to check-in which was appreciated. There was a new gas grill and washer & dryer on site, which was helpful for our stay. We had 2 families with kids and the layout was perfect. The new resin deck chairs were our "go to" spot each evening to hang out and enjoy the weather. The beach access is just 50 or so feet away and the walk to the mini golf, park/splash pad, museum and shops was short. It was perfect for us with 3 smaller kids to not have to get in the car all the time. The town feels so wholesome and safe for older kids to go off on their own to play at the arcade or ride bikes. The house is a little dated, but no one in our group seemed to mind. We cooked almost every meal at the house and found what we needed. The only "issue" we had was the carpet in the loft because of someone's allergies. The carpet had some older stains on it and it would probably be beneficial to just replace it with another hard surface like the first floor so it's easier to keep clean. One small suggestion would also be to leave a few cleaning supplies like Windex or Lysol spray and a few dish towels or paper towels for the kitchen. We happened to bring some, but it may be helpful for others. That said, we had an absolutely wonderful time and I would stay at Dawn's house again.

This was a great place all around.

We were down at Ocean Isle for our wedding week. Couldn't have asked for a better location to all the running around we had to do and for great beach access days to break away. We used the house for quick gatherings and for the bridesmaids to party the night before and hang out on the multiple decks. They had plenty of room to do there makeup and have a hairdresser fix up all there hair before our nuptials. Great little laundry room with brand new washer and dryer for great efficiency. Perfect size for 5-8 guests to comfortably stay and have a wonderful time. Dawn was very easy to get a hold of, if we had questions. Thanks again Beach Haven, we will he back to celebrate our anniversaries!

This was a great property to rent!! House is across the street from beach access, easy walking distance. Rooms were all clean and house was very cozy!! Loved that there was a washer and dryer. We will Definitely be renting this again!!!

We had an excellent trip! The house was just what we wanted - it was clean, it was easy, the owner was communicative. Our only complaint was the cold weather! It was the perfect escape for a quick trip to the beach!

The layout of the house was perfect for our family and would be ideal for 2 families. Our kids enjoyed the loft area and we liked the high ceilings it provided. We had a slight delay at checkin when we arrived on time and the house was not ready. The cleaner told us that the dryer is very old and it takes a lot of time to wash and dry all the linens and towels. I think this could be an easy update and alleviate issues with future renters checking in on time. The cleaner was very nice though and was trying to hurry. We got in about an hour later and all was very clean. Overall, our family really enjoyed the vintage feel of the house. It does not have all the bells and whistles of the new builds but it has a lot of beach house charm. Like mentioned before, the location made it for us! We had a great time and would stay again!

The area is nice and quaint. The property needs some serious updating and organizing of the kitchen. Could not find anything to use for cooking as nothing was organized. We decided to eat out instead.

We loved our stay at your beach house found it sparkling fresh & clean on arrival.The house was comfy & filled with all the needs for a meal prep. We did miss a toaster! An grate pleasure was the ease of keeping doors locked without the worry of keeping track of keys. The porch was also a favorite with us, those rocking chairs & high boys relaxing was easy. A nice surprise was the short walk to the beach access.Looking forward to the enjoyment next year.

We had a great time! The house was spacious and very close to public access to the beach. Ocean Isle was a delightful beach town!

Beachhaven is a great space at a great location. It definitely is a diamond in the rough as plans to update are in the near future. The floor plan is very well laid out for privacy even when sharing bathrooms. Only suggestion would be that while waiting for the updating of kitchen, etc. that some attention to miner details would make the house an even more comfortable stay (ie; light bulbs in lamps, door knobs that do not lock, etc.) Looking forward to returning for another delightful stay.

The floor wasn’t clean, their was NO paper towels in the house and only one roll of toilet paper. Used a towel to clean up a spill do to no paper towels and she slammed us l. Then kept are deposit money.

We loved our stay at this beach house! We had a group but had plenty of space to sleep and move around. The kids enjoyed the loft area and had their own little playing area. The location to the beach is perfect and just steps away. We loved our stay here!
