Couldn’t have been happier with the stay. We traveled with another couple and their baby, brining our 4 year old and our own baby. Great layout and location to give everyone space and ideal hang out space. Easy to pool and views of the Intercoastal Waterway. Super short walk to beach. Seriously could. Ot have asked for a better time.

This place was in the perfect location, near town, the pier and beach. It was beautiful with great views, and had plenty of space for the kids who really enjoyed the pool (which was never crowded) and riding the elevator. It was very turn key and made our vacation amazing. The host was very responsive even though we had no issues whatsoever. Great rental, thanks to the hosts!

We really enjoyed our stay! The elevator is a lifesaver for luggage and groceries. The dock provided great fishing, good conversation with neighbors, and beautiful sunsets. Location of the house was perfect, the community was quiet and relaxing, and an easy walk to the beach.

From beginning to end we had an amazing experience. This property is top notch- with everything you need, clean and spacious. We would absolutely love to return next year!!

This property was perfect for our family vacation. Four couples with two infants and we had plenty of space. The main floor is nice and open so you can see everyone. The kitchen is fully stocked with multiple sets of dishes and utensils, pots, pans, tubberware, and everything you need to make meals. It was nice having a dishwasher available so no one had to do dishes. The coffee pot and blender were nice to have as well. The fridge was huge and we had no issues fitting everything in there. The dinning room table is what sold me originally. We love playing games as a family and this easily fit all of us. The two big couches were super comfortable and there was a plush rug in front of the tv that the babies loved playing on. Also, it was so nice to have a highchair and pack and play available to use - we really appreciated not having to take ours with us! Beds and bedrooms were all comfortable. The main bedrooms had plenty of room for pack and plays. The upstairs bedroom has a nice sitting room that we converted into a small bedroom for one of the kids and it was perfect. We had rain on our last day there, but it gave us a chance to catch up on laundry before we packed up with the in-unit washer and dryer. We were also super appreciative of the elevator that went to all of the floors! The unit was an easy walk to the beach, even with two babies and all of the things they need. There were also a few chairs and a beach cart left that we were able to use, which was nice. The pool was clean and well kept. Chad was a wonderful host and made it known that he was available if we needed anything through the week. I won’t call it a downside, but more of a side note that you need to bring (or rent) all towels, including kitchen towels and bathroom hand towels, as well as your beach and shower towels and wash clothes. Overall, we had a great week and this property worked perfectly for our family! Would highly recommend.

Great layout, especially the living room. The couches are incredibly comfortable and there are thoughtful touches like throw pillows and throws blankets. Elevator super helpful for loading and unloading. Storage was at a minimum. No dressers, but cubes and closets for clothing. While beautifully decorated it felt like room for your things was scarce. Mattresses were much too firm for everyone. The king mattress is brand new, but very firm. I'm sure it's a durability issue, but there was discussion of sleeping on the couches for comfort. Bright colors, fresh and contemporary. Good amenities at the home, outdoor showers, chairs, a cart fully stocked kitchen and a deck on every room. It was the perfect size.

Third year in a row on Coastal Cay and the second year at 112. The owners are great people and take good care of the property. The elevator really helps with heavy bags and store runs. The younger folks appreciate the pool and spending time on the pier fishing and taking out their kayak and paddle boards. I hope we’ll be there again next year. Just have to get everyone’s schedule straight.

Everything from initial inquiry of the property to the day of check out months later was seamless and smooth. Chad always made himself available for questions, clarification, etc. and the communication was awesome. We felt the pictures didn’t do the property justice, it was better than expected. It truly was a short walk to the beach and the pool was a huge bonus for those lunchtime breaks especially for all the kids. Weather was beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for a better one/experience at Three by the Sea, thanks again Chad and Kim!

This house was perfect for our extended family. Great accomodations with a much needed elevator. Loved the swimming pool, the dock and an easy walk to the beach.

We were so pleased with the cleanness of the home. Very nice neighborhood and a short walk to the beach. The community pool was also very nice and clean. The owners Chad Bandy was very pleasant to work with - checked in on us several times to ensure all was well. I would definitely recommend this home . There was 6 adults and 4 kids and plenty of room. Really loved having two sofas in the living room giving plenty of room for seating - also having the pac n play and high chair was a plus

Only there for a few days but everything was wonderful, the house was very nice, kitchen was very spacious, and the walk to the beach was not out of the way for a 2nd/3rd row house.

This house was great and exactly as pictured. Clean spacious and everything worked perfect! The elevator was so nice to have for luggage and groceries. The hosts were friendly and very informative on instructions for the house. We are so thankful we found this for our family vacation this year.

We had a great week visiting topsail and staying at this comfortable and well appointed home. The home has a great layout, the elevator was extremely handy for unpacking and repacking. Chad was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Enjoyed our stay. Nice short walk to the beach. Teens loved the pool. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook during the week. Elevator made life easy for unpacking and packing. Only negative was the ice maker struggled to keep up with only 5-8 people at times. Suggest maybe keeping a few bags in freezer. Other then that we would definitely come back to this property.

Beautifully decorated and immaculately kept, this property was perfect for our three-generations family beach vacation. There is plenty of comfortable seating and the kitchen is well-equipped with everything that we needed. The elevator was greatly appreciated as we were traveling with little ones who require a lot of stuff! (Although we didn’t use them, the provided travel crib and high chair were both in excellent condition. We wouldn’t have hesitated to use either of them) Owner was very responsive to all our questions. We had absolutely no issues with the property.

We stayed in the same complex last year. Chad and Kimberly’s house was much nicer. We were concerned about the view from this property. The other house had a better view of the pool and area but this property more than made up for it, plus the view was fine. We never rented through Vrbo before so I was apprehensive. It worked out great. We never had the privilege of communicating with Kimberly but Chad was an absolute pleasure to work with. You can tell he takes pride in his home and keeps you informed and checks in to make sure everything is good. We love being on the sound and being able to fish, kayak and paddle board. The ocean is a short walk and the pool is really nice. The elevator is great for moving in and out plus taking in groceries. We hope to stay there again and just need to coordinate our schedules.

We had a great time while staying here. The neighborhood is awesome with the dock and pool. Kids had a blast exploring. The beach was an easy walk and really nice. Home owners were easy to reach as needed and home was nicely appointed. Thanks for a great stay, see you next year!

The property was exactly as listed. Clean, very maintained, well equipped kitchen. Convenient location to things in town and great beach access with little crowds! Beach chairs were provided. Outdoor shower was exceptional. The house and location were exactly as expected and perfect! We had such a great week. The owner was responsive to texts and even worked to arrange for personal property left by accident! Would highly recommend this house for others!!

It was a very nice house and the decks were amazing! the 2 queen beds were good but the bunks were really made for kids and not large enough for an adult. Overall a great week fir our family vacay!! Thank you!

This was our second year staying in this community. We really like the location - short walk to the beach, close to downtown Surf City, and enjoy the community pool and small size of the neighborhood. The house was easy to access with the keypad, was clean and tidy and had everything we needed to be comfortable. It was a treat to be able to see the ocean from the top floor deck! Chad was in touch with me multiple times to make sure everything was ok which I appreciated. Overall we had a great week!

House is beautiful, loved sitting on the decks, elevator came in handy to bring groceries up to the kitchen. Appreciated the extra beach chairs to borrow!

This is the one time that the house really looked like the pictures. Everything was nice and clean fully stocked kitchen. We had no issues during our stay. Chad checked on us before our check in, during our stay, and the night before check out. 5 star all the way we will be back

Phenomenal place and Chad was super to communicate with for the entire stay!! Above and beyond to have family and friends fly in for our wedding... it was the best day ever !! Would def visit again highly recommend this property!! Thanks for everything!!!

We chose this house because it perfectly fit our needs for our family trip to visit my son stationed at Camp Lejeune. The 4 bedroom types worked perfect for my husband and I, my elderly parents and grown daughters (19 & 21) along with a couple of their friends. The elevator was perfect for my parents to get in and out of the house, as well as to move between the house from their bedroom down to the main living area. The house was exactly as described, absolutely beautiful, and equipped with everything we needed when we did cook meals at the house. My son invited a few of his Marine buddies to hang out with us for a beach day and dinner our last day here, and there was plenty of room at the large kitchen table and breakfast bar for us all to be together to eat and play cards and games. It was just a short walk to the beach as stated, really the perfect house and location for all our needs!

We very much enjoyed our stay, so nice and relaxing. Everything we needed was rt there, the inside of the home is so comfortable and beautifully decorated. A quick easy walk to the beach. We would love to come back again!

We came to Surf City to enjoy a beach break with family and friends! The house was spectacular!! The kitchen was so well appointed. We had all we needed to cook dinners and it was in great condition and so clean. We loved hanging on the back deck in the evening and playing games and doing puzzles at the big dining table. The elevator made getting our bags in and out such a breeze! We have family that has a beach house right across the street on the ocean so we hope to come back many times and would love to stay here as it is so close to their house! Chad was great to work with. He answered all my questions before we arrived and the check in/check out instructions were so good that I never needed to contact him during our stay.

The property was exactly as listed. Well kept home away from home. The kitchen was adequately stocked with everything we needed. Dishes, cookware and even Old Bay seasoning to add to our seafood boil! The home would be perfect for two families provided the children were grade school age. Everyone in my party was 18+ so the bunk beds weren't the most comfortable for my party. However, we made the most of our stay and enjoyed the proximity to the beach (literally a 4 minute walk to the public access entrance). Elevator in the property made the check in/check out process effortless. Chad, the property owner, made sure to be accessible without being overbearing. He provided clear rules, instructions and expectations for his property and made this VRBO experience a pleasure.

What a beautiful home!! This house was perfect for our family. Everyone had their own space and bathroom. The kitchen was well appointed. Beach access was easy and we enjoyed kayaking and fishing off the dock.
