Cute rooms with decorations, big comfy bed. Got a welcome drink and snack at the restaurant next door which was a nice touch! Breakfast was standard Argentinian - bread and jam/dulce de leche.

great location, very clean, friendly staff

no kitchen, not even a kettle to make a cup of tea; the light in the room was like a candle, hard to see anything let alone to be able to read. No common areas where to sit comfortably and to socialise; the dorm for didn’t close as no door handle - it could be locked from the inside with a bolt it that’s impractical as it shuts other people out. The door always swung open and didn’t give privacy. Suggest: add small lights per bed, fix the doors, keep the outside doors closed as it’s freezing g at night. too expensive for what it offers.

The only thing that was a bit strange was that I had to use the lock on the inside of the dormitory door in order to close it but my dorm roommates had not yet come back for the night. Then when two men arrived I realized that I was locked in a dorm room with them, there was no other person in the hostal for the night and I needed a key to open the door out to the street. All went well but none of it seemed safe for a single female traveler.

10 bed dorms v cramped. Insufficient lockers. No air-conditioning. Hostel cat kept coming into the dorm.

The wifi didn’t work. There often wasn’t a receptionist. There is no common space or kitchen.

Lovely hostal /pretty basic. Good value for the cost.
