I think this flat summarises how crazy the prices are for holiday rentals in the Sunshine Coast. We knew the villa was basic, and it is - but for over Easter we were still paying just over 300 a night and had hoped that we wouldn’t have had ants in the house, kitchen and bathroom, mould in the bathroom and just a generally run down flat .. whilst we weren’t bothered about the WiFi - we didn’t know it didn’t have a dryer (which is really helpful when close to the beach to dry towels and in the rainy weather a godsend) plus it doesn’t have a dishwasher or what would have been great a hose to help wash the sand off the boards when coming back from the beach .. but that said it’s good for the dogs, amazing dog beach, super location but honestly do not stay in summer as there is no breeze and the fans will not help you at all!

Nice clean property. Our dogs had a secure environment to stay So close to beach and lake it was great just to walk everywhere. And a Huge DvD collection. We will definitely stay again.

Everything you need in this property plus you couldn't get a better location, close to the lake and beach.

The property is very clean, well maintained and exactly what is pictured. It was perfect for four grown adults (who bought their own bedding and towels) to stay at for a week while we attended the local university for a conference. Plenty of room (the ladies had the queen sized beds to themselves and the gents had the single beds). Excellent hot water and water pressure. Good stroll to the beach. Definitely needed our car to get around (but that is pretty normal for Sunshine Coast). 5 stars!

Five minute walk to off lead dog beach and two coffee shops. Lovely quiet area. Absolutely loved it ❤️🐾🐾

Great little house with all you could need. Tidy and pleasant Walking distance to the water and a short drive to local shops.

We stayed for 5 nights. Accomodation clean and tidy. A great location, close to the beach and cafes. Perfect for dogs.

Nice little unit,we really enjoyed our stay except for the heat. Wifi and Air con would have been perfect.

Loved it great position and great for pets

We just LOVED it. Home away from home, they had thought of everything. Biggest movie collection I've ever seen... Great books, especially the Pub Jokes book. Comfy, cosey, thoughtful, fun. Easy going, lovely hosts. We can't wait to come back but next time for a much longer visit.

This was a super relaxed classic beach-shack stay. The photos tell you what to expect, and that’s all you need. Short walks to where we needed to go - dog beach, lake, cafe. No wifi meant we went back to games and watching a movie together. Reminds me of going to the beach in the late 80’s

My dog and I enjoyed our stay in this unit! So many great walks and cafes nearby. Even when it was rainy outside there were plenty of DVDs to watch. Nice yard out the back for pets. Happy to recommend to family and friends.

Great location. A fan in the bathroom would possible help. Bedside lights would assist too for us avid readers. A couple of crockery items were dirty and the coffee machine hadn’t been cleaned. Aside from the above, the place suited us and our dog loved snoozing on the grass outside.

This property was just right for our needs. Close access to the beach and lake was a great advantage.

So close to the beach!!!

The location is great. It’s easy walking distance from: 2 cafes that were open around 6:30am next to Currimundi Lagoon, where we used the SUP; the beach which was closed because of the storms; and the off leash area towards Dicky Beach which has a shallow area of the stream to swim safely in and can be accessed along the walking track in the shade. It’s far away enough to feel like you are on a holiday, but close enough to get everything you need. The local shops on Nicklin Way have Woolworths, bakery, takeaways etc. It’s very pet friendly and catches the cool breezes.

This property was a very comfortable older building. There was everything that we needed and was an easy walk to Currimundi Lake and Cafe also a dog friendly beach. Our dog loved our stay also. A fully fenced yard kept him safe and happy.

We had a great time for a long weekend at this cosy well provisioned holiday home. The property was very close to the beach and lake and we checked in and out easily. We noted that our linen fitted one of the single beds well but the second bed was slightly too large for the single fitted sheets we brought with us. All in all, a great spot to be close to the beach.

This is an awesome place to stay with your dogs. It's super close to the dog beach and the patrolled beach and brilliant place to stay with your furry friends. It's pretty down to earth place and I really enjoyed it.
