It is as pretty as it looks in the pictures. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed being able to sit out in the sheltered, sunny garden, even when the weather wasn’t that warm. We were made to feel welcome and had a lovely time.

There is no private parking, but there is parking available on the street outside and in a small car park nearby and the area felt very safe.

We could not have wished for a nicer place to stay. Veronique was the perfect host providing a nice balance between ensuring our privacy and obliging with any help we required. It is a very restful environment with a lovely garden including outdoor furniture for alfresco dining. Les Clos des Acanthes is very near the heart of Vouvray village so it’s easy to walk to the Boulanger for the morning bread or to the patisserie for an afternoon treat. There are a couple of restaurants too within easy walking distance at the end of the street. Parking was available within 100 metres from the property in a local off street parking area. I recommend Les Clos des Acanthes for couples wishing to have a nice relaxing place to stay and conveniently located to explore the Loire region.

Great location in centre of village. Lovely garden. Very nice place to stay. Generally well equipped.

No microwave - they are useful for short stay guests.

Veronique is a delightful owner, that goes to all extremes to make sure you are happy, safe and comfortable! Beautiful gardens and spotless accommodations. Everything you need is a your fingertips! Fantastic location to explore the Loire valley. Having a mobility handicap, I search for accommodations that are level with very few steps and a shower only . This was perfect for my needs!
