We absolutely loved Summerwood Guest House. After a warm welcome, we got a very comfy room and enjoyed all the little amenities Fiona prepared to make us feel home. Thanks for these fantastic days at your house. This was the best accommodation we had in 4 weeks traveling through South Africa!!!

The choice for breakfast was varied and healthy, freshly cooked with plenty of fresh juice & coffee. All served by delightful staff with a great smile. The hosts were engaging and informative, giving great advice on vineyard visits. A lovely experience on our 1st visit to Stellenbosche.

After staying at summerwood for 2 nights I wish we had stayed longer. It's a 15 minute walk/3 min drive to the center square. We had received a video of how we got to our room hours before we got to the guesthouse. We were so lucky to choose this accommodation out of the long list available. Quiet. Quaint and top quality. The cute rabbits in the garden were a big icing on the cake

Fiona was excellent and checked on me to see if all was good. We were up and down for work so i don't believe we gave this location the time and effort it deserved. So some of my rating is not because i didn't think is was excellent - it was just that we didnt invest the correct amount of time there to give us a true reflection. I loved the green garden and pool - and Fiona's hospitality will allow me to go back there.

Relaxed, quiet and comfortable. We walked into town for restaurants, and borrowed a bike too. A wonderful place. We expect to return.

Fabulous guest house with a fantastic breakfast and an extremely warm, welcoming and friendly host. The grounds are lovely with a big pool and four adorable bunnies hopping about. Everything you could need, and they went above and beyond to accommodate dietary restrictions (we had our own gluten free menu!). Will definitely be back.
