Gorgeous building and PERFECT location!

this is an excellent location right at the center of the old town next to the cathedral so you can easily get around the old town, get to the train station in under 20 minutes walking and get to the Orangerie park within 30 to 35 minutes walking. It is perfectly positioned. With that said, it is like an old fashioned Inn with the emphasis placed on the restaurant although the rooms are very clean, comfortable and quiet. There was even a small air conditioner and a fan for when the heat wave hit Europe. there are beams splitting the room and the bathroom which add to the enjoyment of the hotel. But it is not a traditional hotel. You are not going to have someone at the front desk, but somebody who works in the restaurant taking care of you simultaneously. Not a problem for us but it might be a problem if you expect a Hotel

if you expect a normal hotel, you would be disappointed. However, we were only there one night and the room was spotless, there were teas and coffees and cookies along with the ability to make a hot drink, lots of necessities in the bathroom and an air conditioner so there really is nothing wrong with the hotel

Of course the location is unique. Rooms are clean.

Very pricey for the size, configuration of the room and particularly for the facilities that are non existent.

Excellent location, with plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes.

A/C in the room did not work. It was extremely hot. Was not able to open the one window which was extremely small because it didn't have a screen and there were many pigeons and birds that could have easily flown in. A fan had to be brought in. The breakfast was not worth the money.

WiFi was too complicated. Breakfast was totally bread based. Very unimaginative and unhealthy.

The staff was very nice and the breakfast was simple but good bread, orange juice and viennoiseries.

I got the room under the roof and it was not comfortable because it was small, they could not fix the light at the bed and the chair was not very comfortable to relax the evening. I was also unlucky because the evenings were very warm.

We highly recommend this place. The location is great, the service is nice and it's very clean. Literally as you exit the hotel there are several restaurants overlooking the Notre-Dame de Strasbourg so you can enjoy a coffee with a beautiful view in the morning.

Perfect location and a truly historical building!

The room has been obviously filthy and worn off. Hair of the predecessors on the shower wall, mould in the corners of the shower, the toilet smelled etc. This is a pitty because the hotel has an excellent location.
