The size of the rooms were a good size, the breakfast was lovely

We stayed here for 5 nights as we had a wedding in benahavis. The location was perfect and only a 15 minute journey to the venue in benahavis, while it was walking distance into Puerto banus marina and even less to the beach. The setting of the hotel is beautiful even to walk around and everything spaced out well, with ramps and paths to suit disabled access. We spent time at both of the main pools which were great plenty of spaces at this time of year with no need to reserve loungers. The breakfast couldn’t be faulted with choice for everyone including non dairy milk alternatives and great value for money. The staff were kind and helpful at all times, arranging transport to the airport for us.

There was unfortunately an issue with our water in the room on our last day and the shower and sink ran discoloured however staff apologised and explained there had been a fault during the night, and once we ran the shower for ten minutes as advised it was back to normal. This appeared to be a once off issue and was no one’s fault.

have to pay for wifi after all that money you pay and there is no Air conditioning the whole holiday I was hot and sweaty and bothered wanted to eat cereal in my room so I asked the restaurant for bowls and they did not allow me to take a bowl into my room, felt like a complete prisoner in this “hotel”

the property is old, but clean and well maintained . Stuff was very nice and accommodating.

the interior and fixtures are original. beds, mattress and pillows were horrible. After sleeping on that bed for a week, you will need a trip to chiropractor. The food was absolutely horrible (orange juice from concentrate and instant coffee was just not cutting it). The demographics is a strange mix of families, retirees and college students. You can have neighbors that come home in the middle of the night and start yelling, fighting and just being obnoxious and they will wake you up.
