Top notch place to stay in Carolina Beach! Well stocked with fantastic views of both the Ocean and Lake. Right in the middle of everything you could want. Walk 5 minutes to the Boardwalk, ice creme, restaurants, and most importantly right across the street from the beach access. Perfect location to be around it all. House is well stocked for cooking, provides all the needed towels and other linens, beach chairs, and all the things you really need to just enjoy the beach without having to pack more than a suitcase of clothes!

Our family just spent one week at this property and we are looking forward to returning again in the future! The property was incredibly clean and accommodating! Kitchen was stocked with everything you will need for large family meals. Additional amenities provided by host include laundry pods/dryer sheets, beach chairs and beach cruisers. The location to the beach was much closer than I expected and the view from the porch was picturesque! The small elevator was helpful for members of the family that weren’t able to navigate the multiple flights of stairs. Would highly recommend this property!

This is one of the best houses we've stayed in. Excellent amenities. Great location, fantastic views of the ocean, a short walk to the beach and boardwalk. Beyond beach activities we found may attractions in the area and in Wilmington all within a 30-minute drive or less.

Most well-stocked vacation rental we've stayed in -- kitchen ware, multiple towels per person, beach chairs and bicycles. The location was great in early May. The furnishings were very comfortable and the wall colors and art work were quite pleasing to the eye. Plenty of parking for 4 cars. Pre-arrival information and check in was easy to follow and our contact with the owner and property manager were very prompt. It was a great vacation there. Thanks!

This is a beautiful top floor condo with a perfect location and stunning views. The home is beautifully maintained and immaculate. The owner supplied ample towels, paper products, dish soap, clothes detergent, etc. above and beyond what is customary. The beds are extremely comfortable and bed linens are lovely. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and more. We loved or Christmas week at Serenity by the Sea. The elevator was broken and we managed to work around it, but it could be a problem so be forewarned. Also there is no exception to the 5:00 pm check in time. All in all we’d highly recommend this beautiful home!

Great location and a great home. Had everything we needed and more. So much room to spread out. Everything was of high quality and not what you would expect from a rental. Owner is super sweet. Checked in several times during hurricane Ian. Would definitely stay again. Three year old granddaughter said the best thing about vacation was “our house”.

This host has thought of EVERYTHING!! From a 1year old to 58 year old this property was perfect!! Views were great! Beach access great! Very short walk to the boardwalk and dining! 2 items were broken upon our arrival but we notified the PM and they noted it. Honestly this is the best place we have stayed!!

This property was very nice. It is located right across from beach access which made it very easy to spend time on the beach. The elevator made it very easy to load and unload on each floor. We had a minor issue with the door code, Steve the property manager was there in a matter of minutes to resolve it. Property was exactly how it was pictured. Great vacation!!

We had some issues checking in as the private elevator did not work and our door codes were incorrect, but a call to the VRBO manager and owner rectified the problems in a timely manner. The condo was immaculate and one of the best stocked kitchens we've ever rented. Everything was as the owner, Renee, stated in the property description. Really cannot say enough good things about our stay. I would highly recommend this property as a rental.

Our family had a very nice stay. The house was well appointed, and just as advertised, with lots of room. The location was great, very walkable, nice views. We enjoyed the beach, and the entrance is right there which was very convenient. When checking in, the code didn’t work on one door, but the property manager answered the call right away and gave us a backup code that worked. The dishwasher and clothes washer pods, towels, beach chairs were all well-prepared and very helpful, especially when traveling from afar. We used the elevator just to move in and move out, and it worked well. We’d look forward to staying here again.

Our favorite things were the well stocked kitchen, beach towels and beach chairs provided, and providing garbage bags, dish soap, and washing machine soap for the entire week.

I could rave all day about Serenity by the Sea! Renee's property was better in person than the pictures. It was spotless and pristine in terms of cleanliness and sanitizing. It was also so cozy and inviting :) Linens were laid out, including beach towels (reducing what we needed to pack). And, the basket with extra supplies kept us from having to look for anything. The location of the condo is prime. I watched the sun rise every morning with an unobstructed view of the ocean!! Beach access was 20 paces away. We walked everywhere - boardwalk, arcade, restaurants and shops, and the lake was across the street behind the condo. Parking was plenty and convenient as well. Renee communicated thoroughly and in advance. Steve (property manager) was also very helpful with a few questions we had. I have no complaints and have already recommended it to family and friends. We will be back for sure!

Our family had a wonderful stay in Carolina Beach. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and stay in for meals; it was a very short walk to the beach with beautiful views from both balconies; and our group of 10 was very comfortable in the space-plenty of room for our things and plenty of seating, etc...we definitely made use of the nice extras like beach towels and beach chairs and toys. We would definitely rent here again! Thanks to our host for providing such a wonderful place for us to come together in celebration of our daughter’s college graduation.

The house is very clean, great location, amazing views and lots of room! 4 bathrooms with 3 and 1/2 baths is also really nice to have! Plus, the beach is so close!!! We really enjoyed our stay!!!

Our first time in Carolina Beach. Very pleasantly surprised with everything. Excellent location, plenty of room for 5 adults. The condo was nicely equipped, allowing us to comfortably cook and eat all our meals in house (thanks to COVID). Plenty of coffee shop and ice cream shop choices within close walking distance. We've rented condos on the Florida Gulf Coast the past three years, this beat them all.

We visited for an after Christmas family holiday. There were 10 of us. 6 adults, 4 children. The house is pristine and Covid cleaning, sanitation, and other measures taken. Beds were more comfortable than home. And the view of the ocean was fantastic. Amazing time. Check-in/ Check-out process was easy communication was fantastic even on a holiday. There should be no doubts about renting this amazing house.

It has taken me over 3 months of collecting my thoughts to write this review. Just know that if you require the use of a service dog for a recognized disability, even though it violates federal law, you will be denied. As a former service dog foster and now as a professional service dog trainer, I have traveled to many places in the US and I've never been denied because of a service dog in training, even in pet-free rentals. In NC, service dogs in training have the same public access rights. In looking at VRBO policy it states that service dogs cannot be denied in pet-free properties, nor are you required to disclose the presence of a service dog. I would never do that without informing the property owner, as I believe in mutual respect and total transparency. I even contacted a VRBO customer service rep to confirm I understood the policy. He suggested I contact the property manager and said he would send an email to the property manager reminding her of VRBO policy. Although the argument that I don't personally require a service dog is null due to NC state law on service dogs in training, (verified by VRBO) the property owner made it clear that even if the dog were required by me to mitigate a disability, I would not be allowed in her pet-free property. I serve veterans and am grateful for what they have sacrificed for our freedoms, and I am an advocate for anybody whose life can be improved with a service dog, whether it's a medical alert dog, a mobility support dog, or a dog who has been trained specific tasks to mitigate PTSD. For a property owner to so blatantly turn her nose up at the Americans with Disability Act is unconscionable. A service animal is not a pet, it is an assistive medical device. Allergies, by law, are not a valid reason to deny a service animal. You can encounter service animals in a doctors office, on a plane, in schools, and you never have a guarantee that a service dog has not stayed in a hotel room prior to you. The degree of cleaning Renee claimed it would take to restore her home to pet-free status was laughable. Unfortunately I encountered someone who merely felt entitled and chose to flex her muscles and threatened to cancel my booking 2 nights before my family was to arrive from 1200 miles away. I will be discussing this with the Dept of Justice and will also talk again to VRBO. Not sure how people can list with them then and refuse to follow their policies and there will be a resolution to this.

Extremely well appointed top floor condo rental with balconies facing east and west. Near the main strip of shops and restaurants of Carolina Beach. Private garage with elevator made in and out convenient for our senior traveling with us. A top rental in the area!
