Location was amazing. Beautiful pool and gardens looking onto the lake. A really nice scale so even though hotel was full it didn't feel like it. Lovely staff and really great food in the restaurant.
Really not much. Would have loved a gym but there was plenty to do.

The food was exceptional, the staff were all so friendly and the views were amazing. Definitely contact the manager at the hotel to discuss your room choice before booking!
Could hear everything from the room above which resulted in very little sleep for our stay. We stayed in a “larger deluxe room” and had paid to have lake/ garden views but we just looked at the car park. Only really family friendly- you will get splashed trying to swim a length or listen to screaming kids whilst sunbathing. Not really walking distance to either town for the boat ect- definitely hire a car!! We were expecting to be able to walk along the lake to the local town but you have to walk on the road for 10 mins before you can hop into a path by the lake- just worth considering when choosing the area!

It’s a small hotel with a personal service. Breakfast was amazing and the pool area has ample loungers so you could easily get them at any time of the day. The location right in the lake is amazing
We were charged €5 per bottle of water which was put into our fridge daily at no point was there anything to say it wasn’t complimentary.

Clean and cosy all the hotel and rooms, personnel very pleasant.
Little bit noisy by the pool (lots of children)...and missing the gym.

the quality of the appartment we got was definitely not as for a 5 stars hotel (it looked more like a guest house), uncomfortable sleeping sofa in the living room, very poor equipment in the kitchenette

This was our 3rd stay at the hotel and it remains a good choice all round
unfortunately no rooms were available in the main hotel so we stopped in the apartments. Whilst everything was spotless and well equipped. it lacked any sole. The decor was plain and furnishing was bland

We stayed at an apartment in the Villa in the grounds which was spacious and comfortable. I slept perfectly on the sofa bed.
All the staff were very helpful and everything in the restaurant was delicious, with a wonderful team working there.

The calm and beautiful garden and pool area
No hotel cars to get you around: the area has notorously limited number of taxis. This would be a simple fix and would improve my rating to a 10.

The best breakfast spread and a wonderful setting. The pool and sun-lounger area is very well spaced out so you are not too close to others. A real treat.

it is a place with a fantastic view.
we were not impressed with the apartment, they are small but with a fair grand size of bathroom,
plain white everywhere with absolutely no decor, you certainly dont feel attached to a luxury hotel.

The location on the lake is perfect. quiet yet convenient.
it wasn’t the warmest atmosphere. As someone who works in hospitality, I believe it’s crucial that staff have a genuine welcoming and kind demeanor. this was not really the case. they were all
perfectly accommodating to our questions, just not very happy or friendly.

Great place where to stay for a weekend or for a week,or may be longer. For a couple or for family - with kids or infant, or even with a dog!

Great location - nice view. Its possible stay in hotel territory all day long, its many things what to do - pool, massage possibilities, have a snack or great cocktail. Or you can go for a walk and there are nice places what to visit in some km around.

A very stylish classical renovated building by the lake, just over the water.
Beautiful and laid back atmosphere.
I enjoyed the really centered reception area with the very attentive and nice staff.
Great orquids everywhere, very unique.
Breakfast food with great quality.
Bath amenities great although maybe too much perfume like...
E bikes available are great.
Some areas feel they need an uplift, mainly the halls and maybe the bedroom floor.
Small amounts of dirt on the hall corners.
Pipe smell in the shower, not terrible, but definitely noticeable.
Breakfast takes place in or outside , in very stylished rooms. Some products are cover, like ham and cheese. Others aren't, and those had small flies and mosquitoes around... maybe all food should be covered somehow!
Not heated pool or jacuzzi outside and the pool really could appreciate a renovation, it's in a great place facing the lake but the place doesn't feel cosy or trendy at all..

We very much enjoyed the pleasant stay at Bella Riva! Everything was just perfect and worth the price. Great hospitality in a marvellous surrounding! Relaxed luxury. We intend to come back.
