The staffs are kind.

The room is really small, as you can see below photo, that's the whole size of the room. And the toilet was terrible because there was no lid or nothing to cover on it. And the swimming pool is not allowed to the children under 16, it wasn't show when we booked, but you need to click many times to check this policy of the swimming pool. I can NOT Still find this guidelines on booking page. They should indicate this cleary on the first page. And we have to PAY the fee of entering this swimming pool, €18 each person, even you stay in this hotel. We hadn't been noticed this when we checked in. At the swimming pool, you can see small insects in water. We were completely disappointed at this hotel.

The hotel is amazing, it has a very nice view of Saint-Cirq-Lapopie. In spring or summer might be even better , however we really enjoy the day. we were there with our baby of 1,3 yo, we stayed in an apartment and it’s perfect for a family. The only thing (not bad , just we are with a baby) is that to go to the city you cannot go by walking, is quite far and with ups and downs . Amazing ! Super happy 😊

bed wasn’t the comfortable no tea or coffee making facilities in the room read on the comments from others that a courtesy bus took you up to Saint Cirq la Popie and when l asked receptionist she said you just drive up to the impenetrable village on the mountain top and have to park in the dark at either the very top or very bottom it was absolutely not on. Very annoyed with her service about that. Next morning when we left we saw the courtesy bus outside the hotel that should have taken us the night before. that spoilt things for us

The room was standard and somewhat small but comfortable and clean. No toilet seats which we guess is the new form of hygiene as per the hotel standards. The buffet breakfast was very nice and well set up with a good variation of food, juices and coffee. Furthermore the location had a great pool and very well central located by car to the small center of Saint-Cirq-Lapopie

The WIFI was really poor and we had hardly any connection in the room. Asking the question to the owner which WiFi connection I should use his reaction was just use the strongest one you can get.

The hotel is in the most beautiful location…. stunning views over the vineyard to St.Cirq Lapopie. Good air conditioning in the room given the heatwave. Exceptionally powerful shower!

There are very limited option for eating nearby, unless you’re prepared to drive. The hotel has no restaurant. Breakfast served on the terrace was pleasant. The hotel offers a shuttle to their partner restaurant in town, but they escort you to make sure you eat there! (Not a huge choice if you don’t like Foie Gras or truffles!!) Use if the spa facilities is an additional cost. Mattress was too firm for my liking - although I realise some may prefer this! Limited communication or information for non-French speakers.

The view from our window was spectacular. The room was lovely, the breaksfasts amazing and the service was great. We did not make use of the spa but it looked lovely. Excellent value for money.

It would have been great to have a way to get to the village of Saint Cirq La Popie and its restaurants without having to drive, especially when it it hot. However, we soon discovered the E-bikes for hire - Les Vélos de Saint Cirq and it totally changed everything! Full recommend hiring bikes and getting around on them.

beautifully French property decorated in French chic style. rooms were amazingly clean with spotless freshly washed bed linen (we were so lucky on check-in to have an upgraded room) spectacular location with outstanding views. amazing great value buffet breakfast with many home made items! made memories here to last a lifetime and cannot wait to return 😊

Maurice is a great host with a great sense of humour. He was extremely helpful and the house was absolutely gorgeous, beautifully renovated by him. Breakfast was an unbelievable feast, wonderful cakes, quiches, charcuterie, fresh fruit, crepes and good coffee. Excellent. Merci beaucoup Maurice Elaine et John

Comfortable bed

My upgrade wasn’t impressive. I was next to car park! Other rooms looked much nicer. Receptionist (male) was too brusque for my liking. Swimming pool is v small. Could accommodate two people at any one time no more than that. I felt unwelcome. Left without having breakfast which I normally take

it is in the most beautiful area with a short car drive to the medieval village of Saint Circ Lapopie which cannot be missed

our room was not at all pleasant. We felt as if we were in a prison cell. The concept I get but it just did not work. The entrance to the room means you walk into the bathroom/sitting area and the bed is above on a mezzanine. The stairs were very Uber img to navigate at night when using the bathroom. Apart from a very small window in the bedroom which you had to walk over too for a view, there was no view. Below in the bathroom area, which houses the most spectacular bath for 2, again there were just 2 tiny windows. The room felt dark and dingy with no terrace apart from a small table and 2 chairs outside of the front door facing the road. When booking we had requested and booked a room opening onto the vineyard with beautiful furnishings and sun loungers. We could not have been more disappointed with where we ended up for 2 nights. Our arrival was not at all welcoming by the gentlewoman who checked us in, although the staff on reception when we checked out were delightful. I wish we had met them at check in as we would have felt more inclined to request a change of room. We were not given any details about the Spa or treatments and when we asked where we could, eat the chap who checked us in seemed rather put out and offered little advice or assistance. He did not name a single restaurant despite us finding many when we went to explore, even though dinner is not provided which we knew when booking. Breakfast has to be mentioned as it was the most magnificent spread and the choice was amazing. 10/10 for sure. Overall it was such a disappointing stay and yet with a little hospitality, a kind welcome and assistance understanding the local area and best places to eat, it could have been so much better.

That view!! Incredible to wake up early and see the clouds rising up from the river and around the village. Our check in was easy, parking was free, and the room size was awesome for Europe. We had an adorable patio with a table and reclining chairs. The pool was so relaxing, you could watch sheep in the pasture from the pool, while looking over the vineyard

the pool is tiny and the rooms were snug. not so keen on the lack of toilet seat.

Our room was in a bungalow in the grounds by a pool. The view from our terrace was across the valley to the village - just beautiful, lit up at night too. The room was very spacious and comfortable with lovely furnishings and a huge shower. Breakfast was a short walk past the vines to the main building and was excellent with ample coffee and good choices. The staff were very friendly and helpful with advice of places to visit and restaurants for evening meals, all close by.
