Loved the deck all along the water. Swam in the ocean twice - so convenient! Also, so new and clean - had everything we could want.

The hotel room was very small. No place to put your cell phone while you slept or to have it charged. I had to put the cell phone on the floor next to me while i slept(no bed table). TV was not good and had only 4 basic channels to choose from. The bathroom was very nice and clean but again, no place to put your makeup bag. Had to put that on the floor also while getting ready for bed.

The location was absolutely beautiful! The restaurant was surrounded by windows showing the view over the water, and the food at the restaurant was delicious. The breakfast buffet had an excellent selection of food and beverages. The highlight of the trip was relaxing in the outdoor heated pool. The staff was warm and welcoming. Overall, my stay at Gullmarsstrand was wonderful and I would highly recommend it to others.

The location of the hotell is really nice and the local area is beautiful.

Spa is not included in the room price. It is a pity that there are so many rooms at the hotell without a sea view, when the hotell is so nicely situated - just on the coast. Standard double room reserved via booking.com had no sea view, and was very basically equipped.

Everything was well done and designed and placed only 30m from the ferry. We didn’t try the spa because our 5 year old daughter was too young according to their spa policy. Children must be 8 years or older to enter the spa area and are only allowed access certain days. I think it is a fair policy, which we hadn’t looked into before arrival.

The rooms are a bit small. Good for a couple or a single person. For a family with a 5 year old it was a bit on the small side.
