Good location on prom,free parking,nice staff.

Shower was poor, no shampoo or shower gel,no complimentary water. Minor irritation. Early breakfast times for a sunday.

The Hotel staff were very pleasant, and generally the hotel was ok.

The Hotel generally is in need of an update decoration wise. It looked and felt very dated. The Hotel was very busy so breakfast felt a little rushed.

The location is superb - right on the front. Parking right on the spot - but maybe not enough in high summer if most guests have come by car. During my stay most guests were on coach tours. It had an 'olde worlde' human atmosphere. Breakfast main was freshly cooked and good.

I prefer a more buffet style breakfast. Except for cereals and canned fruit it was waiter service (including the porridge). There was a long wait to be served with tea or coffee and porridge and toast - which was the only bread - and the cooked breakfast. This may well have been a good way of reducing waste but was frustrating. I chose not to have dinner in the hotel. You had to book a place in the morning at a specific time. The menu choice looked very adquate but not exciting. I cannot comment on the quality but I would guess that it was good.

plenty of food available for breakfast, located right across the road from the beach, and only a 6-7 minute walk into centre of town, 10mins walk to the train station. Friendly staff; has a bar at the front of the building

The walls were poppadom thin so ear plugs essential to block out snoring and TVs from other rooms. The shower had all the ferocity of a runny nose. There's wifi in communal areas only - not in bedrooms.

Staff, size of room and convneience

The room was a little too hot and the floor creaked quite a bit. I was expecting to have some shower gel and shampoo.

Ground floor room. Breakfast good and promptly served. Staff very helpful. The location, on the sea front was well situated for harbour and the town.

No toiletries in my room, only small disc of soap. No sea view!

Great seafront location

room was noisy - we could hear people going up and down the corridors, in and out of their rooms. Also there was a noisy fan outside our room and when we asked for another room we were told that the fan would be turned off shortly, when the kitchen closed, however this didn't happen and the fan remained turned on. We were in a room on the ground floor, in the extension at the back - maybe the rooms in the main building would be quieter ...?

Breakfast was served very quickly and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The food itself was just 'ok'.

The room looked as if they'd forgotten to vacuum, although the rest of it was clean enough.

Shower only had hot water , unable to shower reported to reception who said they would report to,maintenance, heard nothing else very disappointing Bed sloped and water for a drink would be nice, no toiletries and I forgot body wash

It was all very clean, beds were comfy, view fantastic!

It was like staying in a old peoples home no atmosphere the bar staff were unfriendly and very grubbily dressed. We thought breakfast was included as id ticked breakfast box was informed it wasn't asked if we could have table for 5 for breakfast as family member lives close by but was told no as 2 coach parties were staying so had to get breakfast elsewhere. Person above was walking around until 11.30pm creaky floorboards opening and shutting drawers tv was on so loud we could plainly hear in our room plus our family members in adjoining room could too. It then started again at 5am the next morning. Hardly slept at all. Shower was really grubby and water pressure so high on sink taps you got soaked when turned on. Had room 56 right beside springloaded door to outside corridor everyone slammed door as they came through needs changing

Very comfortable bed, friendly staff, helpful to be able to park at hotel.

Was surprised to find no toiletries in bathroom, except a bar of soap. Had to go and buy shower gel. Not a huge issue, but don't recall seeing it mentioned when I booked, otherwise I'd have come prepared. The other issue was that the shower was a bit lacklustre and found it difficult to adjust the flow. Decor dated but room and bed comfortable.

The beds are really comfortable and you are right on the seafront, the lady at reception that checked us in was really friendly and helpful.

Breakfast could be extended a little bit, it finishes pretty early.
