Excellent view, very sweet rooms, well equipped and clean, friendly staff. It is a great place to stay if you are keen to try surfing at the beach that is so close.

it’s is on a steep slope so steps are inevitable, but the fact that you go down to go back up again is poor design. not a big issue, but could have been better designed

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They were welcoming on arrival and helped us to arrange for laundry to be done - very useful having been away for many days previously! The rooms are basic but generally OK. The pool was small but pleasant and it was great being in such close proximity to the beach.

The outdoor kitchen area was very dated and facilities were limited. Rooms were basic and would benefit from a little upgrading.

Unfortunately many things, the 3 most important highlighted below. 1. Dirt/Not hygienic. The worst part was to find the room not properly cleaned when we checked in. The kind of place you would wear your sandals to take a shower. When we asked the receptionist to schedule cleaning service for the day after she answered with “Oh, already?” “They are too busy” “can we leave it to the day after tomorrow?” I found this weird and somewhat rude but I agreed to wait one more day in order to not put further pressure on the cleaning service which I expected to be under staff. That same evening when I was putting my daughter to sleep we found a COCKROACH wondering in the room. Needless to say the sense of disgust. My daughter was very upset and took long to fall asleep because of this. The day after, we went to reception to complain and ask to shorten our stay as we did not feel comfortable with this place. The lady refused and said she didn't speak English and couldn't help us, so we had to stay (or leave and loose all our money). 2. Staff. The events described above might already explained why we were not happy with the service of the reception staff. Also, when we arrived around 14pm and we were welcomed with "Oh, you want to check in already?? you are too early". Well, excuse me! I forgot check in is at 15pm. How about a WELCOME thank you for staying with us, we will get you room ready in 1 hour? This did not really bother me at first (I thought, well, she is just having a bad day), but when I connected the dots during my stay I just realised that level of service was far from ideal. 3. Price Quality Ratio. Last but not least, this place is very expensive for what it offers, even if you leave aside the dirt and the cockroach. Before arriving to this place we were in another hotel with amazing facilities, clean, breakfast included, for just 10% more of what we paid here, so I can compare.

I liked the view we had from our room and the comfort of our bed. That was the highlight of our stay - the view of the beach. Other than that, there is not a lot to praise about this property. The staff were also friendly.

We couldn’t close the bathroom window so mosquitoes would come in. The bathroom itself had rust on the appliances and only a few sachets for soap that wasn’t enough to wash your hands and shower. The room was good for two people and the air-con worked well, however, the position of the tv for the main bed is awkward, there was no wifi and no working service. In addition, I’d rather the price of the breakfast be included in the booking (if you wanted that choice) rather than having to pay €10 per person at the reception. I originally booked this room only for a night because we had a layover and our flight was the next day. They advertised there would be transport from the airport because it wasn’t far away. There was no transport. It was a 50-minute taxi journey that cost us €65. There was also a lot of back and forth with my prepayment but I sorted that out by contacting my bank. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re a tourist as there is nothing close by, you would need to hire a vehicle to get around to the restaurants nearby.

The accommodations are well located in a nicest area of the island, the national park. Less tourists, more locals and the surf scene. We had a nice Studio with a side/front balcony and a view over the bay. Only 2 minutes walk to the surfspot! And a good start for the hike to the lighthouse, mangroves beach and Dubuc castle. (3h tour) It was big enough for two people and 2 kids. The outdoor kitchen was well equipped. The staff helped us with some tips and arrangements. Very good value for the price!

It‘s better to speak a little bit of French, English wasn’t very useful.

We liked the view of the hotel, the pool was open even it was dark already, our studio is clean and comfortable.

Location is wonderful, anse bonneville is a total wonder and oceane is overlooking it, takes one minute walking to go to the surfing beach! Facilities are great, infinity pool is beautiful and all is comfy and handy. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Location was great. The view was magical! There was everything we needed in the kitchen.

Staff could have been more helpful - traveling with a baby, we wanted to extend the check-out time but this was not possible and they were not trying to help at all. Also our sink was clogged and one receptionist never called anyone to fix it. Also the room was not clean. Lots of dust on the lamps.
