Hyggelig vertskap som snakker engelsk, god beliggenhet med kort avstand til alt og eksemplarisk renhold. Selv om leiligheten var liten hadde den alt jeg trengte, satte spesielt pris på kjøleskap, fint bad og myggnetting.

The property was really close to the beach; our host was the most helpful; the whole stay was quiet and relaxing.

Friendly and helpful host who provided many excellent recommendations. Location was prime being right next to the beach and within walking distance of any bar or restaurant you could desire.

The owner was really lovely and helpful. Room was basic but had everything we needed and wanted - comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, and the Patio was nice. We would definitely stay again.

Location just 50 metres from the Sandy Beach, 50 metres from supermarket and bakery, 100 metres from restaurants, cafes and town centre. Nice ground floor private patio, common outdoor shower and lavatory, mountains view. Private parking. Studio very compact (but ok for a couple), extraordinarily clean and with daily cleaning service like in an hotel, linen change every 3 days. Kitchenette with all the necessary for cooking. Simple but nice forniture. Very good sleep, good natural ventilation despite the very hot weather, nice garden. The host: Emmanouela is simply the best, very punctual, helpful with everything, good english, very nice person to talk with. We stayed for one week but would have liked to stay longer, all was already booked but Emmanouela found another accommodation just in front, Manos Studios, with her aunt, also very good in the same style. Definitely family studios I warmly recommend to anyone who loves simplicity and authenticity to enjoy Paleochora and its surroundings which are very rich (a lot of different beaches, ferry trips, hiking, etc.). An excellent place to use as base to explore south western Crete. Paleochora is also a lovely village full of character, very lively but not crowded like other places around Chania.

Wifi was a bit weak, but if you are on holiday you shouldn’t need it…

From the moment I arrived it felt like home. I was met and welcomed even though I was 2 hours late and felt totally looked after. They were always available for any questions and advice and were very lovely people. The location is 2 min walk to the old town with a supermarket just next door to the Appartments and the beach directly opposite . What is extra special is that’s it’s not right in the middle and therefore is quiet at night. I have extended my stay for an extra 3 days. I wish I could stay longer! Highly recommend!

I actually can’t think of anything!

The hospitality provided by the hostess Emmanouela was outstanding. She’s very cheerful and will help you with information about anything you want to know about southwest Crete. The free onsite parking is very convenient. Even in this second summer of COVID with reduced tourism street parking is in short supply throughout Palaiochora. The AC worked great, the bed was comfortable, it’s very quiet all day and night and every room has a private terrace or balcony and a kitchenette with a stove top, refrigerator and all the necessary cookware, dishes and utensils. Oh, and the beach is just across the street only one minute’s walk from your room. It’s the longest and widest sand beach I’ve seen in Greece. And there’s daily maid service included even for short stays.

No complaints. This is not a luxury hotel but it’s a great value for the price.
