Some facilities were not functioning well, like the sink in the kitchen was leaching

location near Sete Cidades and ponta delgada

the steep stairway to access bathroom and living room

fantastic place to feel at home on the island. it felt peaceful, private and comfortable. incredibly well equipped kitchen, the house is being kept with a lot of love and you can feel it everywhere.

Very unconventional. Well made. Fascinating place. Close to the sea, with sea view from the bed in the top oft the old mills tower!

The unique location! The view to ocean and mountains! The birds! The lovely big garden with bbq facilities! We appreciated the tranquility and the convenient distances to many beautiful spots on São Miguel. Very friendly hostess.

Maybe the mattresses of the beds are a bit too hard for some people and the beds a bit too short for long people (the average length of Dutch males is 1.84m which means that quite a few are longer than 1.9m 😉)

We stayed a few nights in this wonderful accommodation. It was a great experience to sleep in an old windmill. The kitchen was very well equipped, all rooms were very nice and the garden is very cute with all those flowers everywhere. I can highly recommend this accommodation plus it’s perfect if you want to visit the west part of the island.

View of the ocean was nice . Kindly the host left us bread, cheese, milk and yogurt and eggs. Very much appreciated. It was a unique experience.

Being in my 60s it was quite a hike from the top bed to the bathroom in the night . - but this was also part of the unique experience. We could have used more electrical outlets
