The location. It was clean.

Too expensive for what it offers. Just a regular hotel; rooms aren’t that comfortable.

Wifi did not work in my room, so to work I had to sit in the noisy public foyer. Even in my room the traffic noise from the very busy main road was constant, day and night. Music was audible in my room day and night. My room was illuminated at night by a an intermittent pink/orange light from a club next door. There was no blackout curtain and no way of excluding the light. I was too early for breakfast twice: Ruta 40 workers were allowed an early breakfast but not other guests. Only the second time was I told a packed breakfast was available. When I collected it, it consisted of a rubbery sandwich, an apple, a banana and a yoghurt. For the breakfast I was billed €50,000.

The water pressure was good, and the breakfast was decent.

The cleanliness had a lot to be desired, I had to move twice, in the first room we found empty beer and soda cans, when we complained we were moved to another room where we found hair and stains on the bed, this happened in the assistant presence, (needless to say he was very embarrassed), at this point we decided to upgrade to a suite with a jacuzzi which did not work because they turn the water heater off at night to save money, also the suite had tape on the walls from previous "lovers" decorations. In Colombia, the employees are overworked and underpaid, so they do the least amount of work possible, I think that they invented the so-called "quiet quitting" that it's so prevalent today. It is a shame because the hotel has a lot of potential...
