Staff were friendly. Room were nice and clean.

The owner is very helpful and we enjoyed talking woth him about Finland The room is provided with boiler, fridge and a brewing coffee machine (even if coffee was not provided). The temperature is very warm. The hostel was very close to the lake, and the nature over there is incredible

It is mandatory to have a car to get to the place, but that's part of the beauty A couple of attention would have made our stay perfect (shower gel was not provided, only a toilet paper for a couple for 2 nights), but overall we had a great stay

The location is very interesting, and the place altogether looks very cosy and friendly. The owner was very nice and he lives nearby, so that was also helpful. For sure it is a good price for a one night stay.

Unfortunately, the kitchenette is very poorly equipped. We have arrived rather late, and there was no restaurant nor a shop anywhere nearby (as expected), so we brought some food to cook with us. However, we realized that the cooking plates are unavailable since the knobs had been taken away. So it was literally a microwave and a bread toaster available only, but unfortunately we did not have any food that could be prepared this way.

Room was big and kitchen was well equipped with appliances and utensils. Nice and helpful owner

No Air Conditioning. Very hot room with a fan. Better to visit when it's under +25.

This is a gorgeous little abode in Saimaa, and excellent value for the price we paid. The owner is a nice, friendly and quirky Belgian, always ready to chat or give advice. The place is ever evolving, which gives it a nice 'living' feeling. The 'red' double room is very nice and cosy and has all the facilities needed. Each room seems to have its own BBQ which is an nice bonus. The sauna experience was excellent, especially after a long day of cycling.
