The location was quiet and very close to the beach. The room was regularly cleaned. The staff were very helpful.

Great location in the old town of beautiful Villajoyosa. Simona, at reception, was charming and did her very best to make my visit memorable.

We’ve been lots of times before and it is very well located, very modern, and usually very clean.

The room was slightly tired and not as clean as previously. Property has passed in two different hands and it’s really just an online booking system rather than a friendly local service. There is also no breakfast.

What a fantastic hotel! Fantastic location in the Old Town, in a little placa with restaurants and the church! 2 minute walk from the beach. We arrived via tram from Alicante and it was only 5 min walk from the tram stop at La Vila Joiosa! Air conditioning was very effective and quiet, and so appreciated in the heat of summer! Large room and bathroom. Comfy beds and pillows and extra duvets. Fridge and safe in room. Isabel is the most amazing host - fantastic comms from booking to checkin and out! Anything you need she can organise - any time!! We would not hesitate to return!

Superb location in the center of the old town by the church. Traditional building but fully renovated, even with a lift.

Firstly, the hostess was super kind, she's a lovely lady, who helped us with everything we needed. She has also a very good eye for detail! And speaks English very well. Also the lady who cleaned the room and made the breakfast for us was very nice. The breakfast was great, it looked like some kind of high tea every morning. We really had a great time and I would recommend this hotel to everyone! The location is also great, right between the streets with colorful houses. Just make sure when you stay in Villajoyosa, you also check out other places. So you can see more of the region.

Beautiful rooms and a very nice staff. The breakfast was very tasteful, inside or outside with a view over the rooftop to the ocean. And with the most beautiful place in the old town we were really happy to have our stay there.

Breakfast was lovely, in a lovely setting a short walk across a sunny courtyard.

Less noise from the street side but loved Villajoyosa. Totally realise this is not in any way anything the host can control. There was nothing to fault. So helpful with every need.

This is a beautiful little hotel in a wonderful Spanish setting , the rooms are beautifully designed as is the reception. The staff very helpful . This was our first time in villajoyosa , but it most certainly will not be our last . We would love to stay at the Rosal again.

Comfortable bed, cool room in heat of day with balcony. Friendly staff, helpful when you need them but not overbearing. Situation perfect, breakfast very nice and in a lovely setting.

A little noisy from busy street below but it was the weekend, maybe courtyard side would be more peaceful. No dislikes.

Really first class accommodation in a lovely ‘un-Benidorm’seaside town in Spain (difficult to find) short walk down hill to the beach (uphill coming back) ! Villajoyosa is a lovely place ,hope I can go back for longer one day
